Using the collet spanner you can undo the collet (1). Put the accessory in its place. Hold down

the spindle lock button when you fasten the collet with the collet spanner.

Never operate the spindle lock button if the engine is still rotating.

Switch on the machine by engaging the on/out switch (A). By adjusting the adjusting wheel (B)

you can regulate the speed of the Combitool.

Too high a load at a low speed of the Combitool can burn out the engine.

• For precision work (engraving): pencil grip (A)

• For rough work (grinding): paring knife hand grip (B)

• When you need to keep the tool parallel to the work surface (e.g. using a cut-off wheel): 2

Ferm does not deliver spare accessories for the Combitool. The Combitool is designed to use

the standard accessories of Dremel, Black & Decker, Bosch or Proxxon. Always check that the

maximum rpm of the accessory is suitable for the maximum speed of the Combitool.

Some hints in regard to speed

Always practice on a piece of scrap to choose the correct accessory and the optimum

operational speed.

• Use low speed (with respect to high temperatures) with plastics and other materials with a

low melting temperature.

• Use low speed (with respect to damaging the brushes) during cleaning, polishing and

brushing.

• Use high speed when working with steel or iron.

Tip for cutting: Use paraffin or other suitable lubricant on the cutter to prevent the cut material

from adhering to the cutter teeth.

When using a grinding stone the first time, use the dressing stone to balance it.

4. ACCESSORIES FOR THE COMBITOOL

• Sammenlign accessoirernes maksimalt tilladte omdrejningshastighed.

• For man sætter maskinen væk, skal motoren være koblet fra, og de bevægelige dele skal

være helt i ro.

• Fastgor aldrig en monteringsnogle til maskinen med et stykke sejlgarn eller lignende.

• Brug aldrig akse-blokeringsknappen, når maskinen er i arbejde.

• Sorg for at spændetangens diameter svarer til accessoirernes akse-diameter.

• Brug en klemmemekanisme til at fastsætte den genstand, der arbejdes med.

• Hold fingrene væk fra den genstand, der arbejdes med.

Elektrisk sikkerhed

Ved anvendelse af elektriske mas kiner skal man altid følge de lokalt gældende

sikkerhedsforskrifter i forbindelse med brandfare, fare for elektrisk stød og

legemensbeskadigelse. Læs udover de nedenstående instruktioner også sikkerheds-

forskrifterne i den separat vedlagte sikkerhedsfolder. Bevar instruktionerne godt!

Kontroller altid om netspændingen svarer til værdien på typeskiltet.

Maskinen er dobbeltisoleret i henhold til EN50144; det er derfor ikke nødvendigt

med en jordledning.

Udskiftning af ledninger eller stik

Hvis netledningen er blevet beskadiget, skal den udskiftes med en speciel netledning, som kan

fås via fabrikanten eller fabrikantens kundeservice. Gamle ledninger og stik skal kasseres, når

de er blevet udskiftet med nye. Det er farligt at sætte stikket på en løs ledning i en stikkontakt.

Ved brug af forlængerledninger

Brug udelukkende godkendte forlæn gerledninger, der er beregnede til maskinens effekt.

Lederne skal have et gennemsnit på mindst 1,5 mm

.Hvis forlængerledningen sidder på en

tromle, rulles ledningen helt af.

Træk for monteringen altid stikket ud af stikkontakten.

Advarsel! Udskift tilbehør ved at indsætte tilbehøret i spændetangen (eller

spændepatronen) i det omfang, det er muligt, for at minimere et dødt batteri og

ubalance.
