6.2  AdvancedPictureMode
Dynamic CTRL
Expands dynamically the brightness range of a video source directly through the laser light source. Turn it Off,
set to Mode 1 for a low correction or to Mode 2 for stronger effect.
LD Power
Set the laser LED power used by the current Picture Prole. For standard viewing conditions, the LED power is
set to Mid. Depending on the screen size and the ambient light, you may set it to Low to obtain a dimmer image,
or to set it to High for a much brighter image.
Aperture
The lens is equipped with a variable electronic aperture. You can set the iris opening to a xed position, adjust to
the best aperture from partially closed (-15) to fully opened (0).
User Name Edit
You can edit the picture mode names User 1 to 6 using a maximum length of 10 characters. You can use alphabet
letters, numbers and symbols:

a) Select the user name you want to edit from User 1 to User 6. Press [OK] to enter the edit mode.
b) The input cursor displays the place where the new character will be insert. It moves automatically as a
character is selected. Use [UP], [DOWN], [LEFT] or [RIGHT] to select a character and press [OK] to insert.
c) Press [BACK] to exit edit mode.
Clear: To delete a character: Move the cursor to the desired location and press [OK] to delete the specic
character.
All Clear: To delete all characters. OK: To save the current name, a save conrmation will appear.
6.3  AdvancedColorProle
Expert Calibration is accessed only by using a programmable IR-RCU, RS-232C or LAN control. Two additional
Picture Modes can be activated, designated as THX bright and THX dark that have to be calibrated. Once done,
these proles are stored and displayed in the picture mode menu list but will not be modiable.
Color Management (TSL adjustments)
The Color Management gives the installer an unique calibration ease with the integrated Color Adjustment menu:
each primary, secondary colors can be independently calibrated to obtain a precise color balance in a snap.
Adjust the Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta tints, their saturations and luminances and store them into
Custom proles. Available adjustments: Axis Position, Hue, Saturation and Brightness.
6.4  Color Temperature Presets
Color temperature stands for the spectral properties of a light source. Low color temperature implies warmer
ambiance (more yellow/red) while high color temperature implies a colder light (more blue). Depending on the
Picture Prole selected, this setting can be set to:
Xenon 1 uses the Xenon lter and color compensation to reproduce a lm projector
Xenon 2 uses the Xenon lter and color compensation to reproduce a digital cinema projector
Preset: from 5500K / warm colors, 6500K, 7500K and 9300K / colder colors.
High Bright used for maximum brightness output available.
HDR saturated colors that matches HDR standards.
