3. Para instalar la toma de aire exterior en la parte
posterior del aparato:
a. Haga un orificio en el pedestal o en el
compartimento de leña quitando la cubierta
situada en la parte posterior del pedestal o
retirando el compartimento de leña; véanse las
siguientes imágenes.
Dependiendo del modelo de aparato, la
cubierta estará fijada con abrazaderas de
plástico o con una placa de cierre. Cuando
la fijación se realiza con resorte, utilice un
destornillador para levantar la cubierta de
su ranura.
b. Deslice un codo hermético en la abertura del
pedestal o en el compartimento de leña, de tal
manera que éste no se pueda desplazar;
véase la siguiente imagen.
Dependiendo del modelo de codo utilizado,
la altura para la conexión en el muro puede
variar.
