Alimentar con leña
Una vez que haya encendido el fuego tal y como se
especifica en las instrucciones:
1. Abra despacio la puerta del aparato.
2. Reparta las brasas por la base de fuego de
manera homogénea.
3. Coloque varios leños sobre las brasas.
Apilado de madera suelta
Apilando los leños de manera suelta, la leña se quema
mucho más rápido, ya que el oxígeno puede llegar a
todas las partes de la madera. Utilice un apilamiento
suelto si quiere que el fuego prenda rápidamente.
Apilamiento compacto
Apilando los leños de manera compacta, la leña se
quema más lentamente, ya que el oxígeno no puede
llegar a todas las áreas de la madera. Utilice un
apilamiento compacto si desea mantener el fuego
encendido durante mucho tiempo.
4. Cierre la puerta del aparato.
5. Cierre la entrada de aire principal y deje abierta la
entrada secundaria.
Llene el aparato hasta un máximo de un tercio
de su capacidad.
Regulación del aire de
combustión
El aparato dispone de varios elementos para la
regulación de aire; véase la siguiente imagen.
El regulador de tiro principal regula la entrada del aire
bajo la rejilla (1).
El regulador de tiro secundario regula el aire por el
cristal (sistema airwash - sistema de limpieza de aire)
y la entrada de aire a través de los orificios de
