4. Chiudere la porta della stufa e aprire sia la presa
dell'aria primaria, sia la presa dell'aria secondaria;
si veda la figura seguente.
5. Far avviare bene il fuoco iniziale fino a quando non
sarà diventato un letto di brace ardente.
Successivamente si può caricare altro
combustibile e regolare il funzionamento della
stufa; si veda il paragrafo "Funzionamento a
legna".
Funzionamento delle prese d'aria
L’apparecchio è dotato di due prese d’aria. La presa
dell'aria primaria si trova sotto la porta e regola
l'apporto di aria sotto la griglia. Sopra la porta si trova
la presa d'aria secondaria che regola l'apporto di aria
per il vetro (sistema di pulizia air-wash).
La presa d’aria può essere azionata mediante la
maniglia mobile (“mano fredda”). La forma della
maniglia mobile (“mano fredda”) dipende dalla
versione dell’apparecchio.
Per la posizione aperta e chiusa della presa d’aria, si
vedano le seguenti figure.

Funzionamento a legna
Dopo aver seguito le istruzioni per l'accensione :
1. Aprire lentamente la porta della stufa.
2. Distribuire il letto di brace in modo uniforme sulla
piastra di combustione.
3. Accatastare alcuni ceppi di legna sul letto di
brace.
