4. Cierre la puerta del aparato y abra la entrada de
aire principal y la entrada de aire secundaria del
aparato; véase la siguiente imagen.
5. Deje que el fuego arda intensamente hasta que
quede una capa de brasas vivas. Introduzca la
siguiente carga de leña en el aparato; consulte el
apartado "Alimentar con leña".
Regulación de las tomas de aire
El aparato tiene dos tomas de aire. La toma de aire
principal se encuentra debajo de la puerta y regula el
aire bajo la parrilla. Encima de la puerta se encuentra
la toma de aire secundario, que regula el aire delante
del cristal (sistema air-wash).
La toma de aire se puede regular con la mano fría. La
forma de la mano fría depende del modelo del aparato.

Alimentar con leña
Una vez que haya encendido el fuego tal y como se
especifica en las instrucciones:
1. Abra despacio la puerta del aparato.
2. Reparta las brasas por la base de fuego de
manera homogénea.
3. Coloque varios leños sobre las brasas.
