3. Conecte herméticamente el aparato a la
chimenea.
4. Compruebe el tiro de la chimenea y el sellado de la
conexión con el conducto de gases. Para ello,
haga un pequeño encendido de prueba con papel
de periódico y maderas finas y secas.
En las obras de nueva construcción, espere a
que la mampostería esté lo suficientemente
seca.
5. En caso de conexión a suministro de aire exterior:
conecte el suministro del aire exterior al set de
conexión que ud. ha instalado en el aparato.
Construcción de la chimenea
El espacio de convección se construye en la propia
chimenea. En este espacio debe circular suficiente
aire. Debe poder succionarse aire para la combustión,
y el aire calentado por la chimenea insert (el aire de
convección) debe circular libremente en el espacio a
calentar; vea la siguiente imagen.

C suministro de aire desde el espacio a calentar
D suministro de aire exterior a través de la pared
E suministro de aire exterior a través del suelo
Durante la construcción de la chimenea, siga las
normas de seguridad para el espacio de
convección que se indican a continuación:
La parte superior del espacio de convección debe
estar herméticamente cerrada por medio de una
placa de cubierta ignífuga y de material refractario.
La placa de cubierta debe estar impermeabilizada y
situarse en el techo, a una distancia de 30 cm por
debajo de la abertura para gases.
Para posibilitar la circulación de aire ambiente,
