5. Operating Instructions
Switch on Your EASYUSE
The phone can be switched on by pressing and holding the ending key, and then the power-on animation
is displayed on the screen. If the SIM card and phone have no password protection, it will automatically
search the network. After searching and registering the network successfully, it enters the standby mode
and the user can make or answer a call.
If the phone fails to find the network, it remains in the limited-service state.
If the screen displays after it is switched on, please switch the phone off and check whether the
SIM card is properly installed.
If a password or PIN code for the phone is required after it is switched on, please input the correct one,
and “*”will be displayed on the screen as the content during the entry. Then press MENU key for
confirmation. Please contact your network supplier if you do not know the PIN code.
Switch off Your EASYUSE
Press and hold the ending key to turn the phone off. After the switch-off animation is displayed on the
screen, the phone will be switched off.
Enter functions
In idle mode, you can enter the following functions (Phone Book, SMS, Ring Tone Settings, Time and
Date Settings) in turn by pressing the MENU key consecutively.
Making a Call
There are three ways to make a call:
1. When the handset is in standby mode, press and hold the memory key from M1 to M4 to dial the
phone number stored in the memory key.
2. Press the memory key, and then press the call key to dial the phone number stored in the memory key.
3. In standby mode, press the MENU key to enter the Phone Book, and select a record from the list.
Press the calling key to make a call.
Emergency call: When the handset is switched on, you can dial the emergency number by pressing
and holding the call key, whether the SIM card is in the handset or not.
Recent Calls
The phone can save 10 recent call numbers. Press the calling key in standby mode to display the call
numbers. You can press the calling key to dial a desired number directly by selecting it with side key A
or side key B.
Missed Calls
When you have missed calls, the main screen will show this and you can access the list to view the
missed calls by pressing the MENU key.
Setting Ring Volume
When the handset is in standby mode, you can press Side Key A to increase the volume and press Side
Key B to decrease the volume of the ring tone.
