• Kijk na of de spanning die vermeld staat op het toestel
overeen komt met de spanning van het elektriciteitsnet bij
je thuis, vooraleer het toestel op het net aan te sluiten. Als
dit niet het geval zou zijn, gebruik de waterkoker dan niet
en wend je tot de verdeler.
• Zet de waterkoker nooit op als hij leeg is. De warmte-
elementen kunnen dan beschadigd raken.
• Trek de stekker altijd uit het stopcontact wanneer je de
waterkoker niet gebruikt.
• Dit toestel heeft een geaarde stekker. Zorg ervoor dat het
stopcontact dat je gebruikt goed geaard is.
• Laat het snoer niet over de rand van een tafel hangen of
laat het niet in aanraking komen met hete oppervlakken.
• Zet het toestel niet op of in de buurt van hete gasvuren of
elektrische vuren of plaats de waterkoker niet in een hete
oven.
• Zorg ervoor dat de waterkoker op een stabiele en vlakke
ondergrond staat, waar kinderen niet bij kunnen. Zo
voorkom je dat de waterkoker zou omvallen en personen
zou verwonden of beschadigd zou raken.
• Dompel het snoer, de stekker of de waterkoker nooit onder
in water of andere vloeistoffen, om brand, elektrische
schok en verwondingen te vermijden.
• Vermijd contact met de stoom die uit de tuit van de
waterkoker komt tijdens het koken of net na het uit zetten
van de waterkoker.
• Giet kokend water altijd langzaam en voorzichtig uit,
zonder de waterkoker te snel te kantelen.
