BEFORE THE FIRST USE

· Check if all accessories are included and if the appliance is not damaged.

· First let water run through the appliance, without adding coee. To do so, ll the water

tank up to the maximum level, switch on the coee maker and let the water run through

completely. Dispose of the water and repeat one or two times. Afterwards, clean the lter,

lter holder, carafe and lid of the carafe thoroughly with warm water.

USE

1. Open the lid of the water tank, and use the glass jug to add the required amount of

water. The amount of water should not exceed the maximum indication.

2. Pull the handle on the swivel lever so that it swings open to the left.

3. Place the lter holder back in the machine so that the handle is

turned towards you.

4. Put a paper lter into the lter holder.

5. Pour the desired amount of coee into the lter. Close the swivel

lter.

6. Insert the glass carafe horizontally into the coee maker. Put it on the keep-warm plate,

under the drip stop.

7. Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/o button. The indicator light

will light up and the coee maker will start brewing. You can remove the carafe from

the coee maker at any chosen time for a maximum of 30 seconds to pour coee. The

appliance will stop dripping automatically.

8. The coee is ready about one minute after the coee stops dripping from the appliance.

· The nal amount of coee will always be a little less than the amount of water you put

in, because the coee absorbs water.
