USE

· Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the

appliance for the rst time.

· Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.

· Make sure the temperature knobs are turned to position “MIN”. Plug in the appliance.

· Make sure there are no foreign objects such as water or food on the hot plate, before turning it on.

· Always use a pot or pan with a at bottom, to have a good contact with the hot plate.

· Turn the temperature knob to the desired position. The hot plate has dierent temperature settings,

use the low settings (MIN - 4) for reheating or simmering. The temperature settings 5 to MAX can be

used for cooking.

· The indicator light turns on to indicate that the cooking plate is switched on.

· When using the hot plate for the rst time, smoke may occur, this is normal.

· Turn the temperature knobs to position “MIN” after use.

· After use, the hot plate will remain hot for some time. You can use this heat to keep food warm during

a short period or for drying out rice or potatoes.

· Attention: using the appliance without pot or pan, will damage the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

· Before cleaning the appliance always remove the plug from the socket.

· Never immerse the appliance in water.

· You can clean the surface of your hot plate with a damp soft cloth.

· Don’t use any abrasive cleaners.

· We recommend to remove spilled food with a damp cloth, when the hot plate is still warm, but not

hot. Be very careful during cleaning not to burn yourself.
