RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
– During the running-in period, (rst 50 working hours), the equipment must be used with
a percentage of absorbed load included between 50% and 70% of the maximum power.
– Using the equipment with a percentage of absorbed load lower than 75% of the maximum
power ensures a longer life of its components, or lower maintenance cost and better
efciency.
– In the case of use at low temperatures (lower than 0°C), rell with winter-type fuel, or
add petrol to the fuel.
– The table indicates the percentages of petrol to be added to the diesel oil based on the
ambient temperature and the type of fuel used.

PROLONGED INACTIVITY OF THE UNIT
In the event of prolonged inactivity of the unit, a series of operations must be carried out to
guarantee proper operation when it is used again.
– Disconnect the battery.
– Turn the safety switch to the “0” (OFF) position
To restore the unit to operation after a period of prolonged inactivity it is recommended
that you:
– Change the engine oil (See “Changing engine oil”).
– Change the fuel lter (See “Changing the fuel lter”).
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE
– Before carrying out any type of maintenance operation, activate all the safety devices
provided and evaluate whether or not those working on the unit and those in the vicinity
of the unit should be informed. In particular, make sure that the surrounding area is clearly
signed and prevent access to all the devices that might, if activated, result in unexpected
dangers or endanger the health and safety of persons.
