6 Descripción técnica
Gracias a su reducido peso y su estructura compacta, el cargador de batería
se puede instalar fácilmente en caravanas, vehículos industriales o yates a
motor o vela. Éste carga baterías que se utilizan a bordo de vehículos o em-
barcaciones para producir corriente o les suministra tensión de compensa-
ción a fin de que no se descarguen.
Una luz de aviso en el aparato permite controlar constantemente el cargador
de batería.
El aparato dispone de los siguientes dispositivos de protección:
Cortocircuito
Sobrecalentamiento
Con sensor (accesorio): sobrecalentamiento de la batería
El aparato puede integrarse adicionalmente mediante dos conexiones en un
sistema de comunicación bus LIN.
La refrigeración se consigue mediante un ventilador regulado en función de
la carga y que puede apagarse con un interruptor externo.
6.1 Variantes del aparato
Los cargadores de baterías PerfectCharge MCA se suministran en distintas
variantes.
Su cargador de batería MCA puede cargar baterías que tengan una capaci-
dad máxima fijada (véase el capítulo “Datos técnicos” en la página 121):
MCA 1215: adecuado para cargar una batería de abastecimiento y una
batería de arranque
MCA 1225, MCA 1235: adecuado para cargar hasta dos baterías de
abastecimiento y una batería de arranque
MCA 1250, MCA 1280: adecuado para cargar hasta tres baterías de
abastecimiento
MCA2415: adecuado para cargar hasta dos baterías de abastecimiento
MCA 2425, MCA 2440: adecuado para cargar hasta tres baterías de
abastecimiento
