For installasjon av apparatet må det ﬁ nnes en åpning i taket med

tilstrekkelige dimensjoner. Man kan benytte de ventilasjonsåpnin-

gene som allerede ﬁ nnes på kjøretøyet eller lage en ny.

Avhengig av kjøretøyets dimensjoner og behovet for behandlet

luft, kan det installeres et eller ﬂ ere apparater. Apparatet skal mon-

teres ved kjøretøyets midtpunkt, både i lengde- og bredderetnin-

gen.

Kontroller at det innvendig der hvor installasjonen skal skje ikke

ﬁ nnes annet møblement som er i veien (lamper, skap, dører, gar-

diner osv.). Dette for å unngå problemer under montering av ap-

paratet og sikre at luftstrømmen ikke støter på hindringer.

Kontakt kjøretøysprodusenten for å høre om strukturen

er sterk nok til å tåle den statiske belastningen og vibrasjo-

nene fra apparatet når kjøretøyet er i bevegelse. De kan hen-

de produsenten allerede har sørget for noen områder hvor

åpningen kan lages uten at strukturen svekkes og/eller man

risikerer å kutte over elektriske ledninger.

Apparatet bør helst monteres horisontalt. Maks. helling 10°.
