ENTRETIEN
NETTOYAGE :
Veillez à conserver votre presse dans un parfait état de
propreté. Pour cela, il suffit d'en nettoyer les surfaces
extérieures à l'aide d'une eau légèrement savonneuse
et de bien l'essuyer avec un chiffon doux.
26. LA MOUSSE :
Par suite d'utilisation intensive de longue durée de la
presse, la mousse de rembourrage peut s'aplatir, ce
qui influence défavorablement le résultat du repassage.
Il sera donc nécessaire de la remplacer.
26. LA HOUSSE :
Veillez à ce que la housse soit toujours correctement
tendue pour qu'elle ne forme pas de plis. Elle peut être
lavée facilement à 40° C. Evitez de la mettre avec du
blanc. Si elle est usée, il faut la remplacer.
27. SEMELLE CHAUFFANTE :
Comme dans toute opération de repassage et comme
cela se produit pour un fer à repasser, les apprêts se
trouvant dans les tissus, les résidus des produits de
nettoyage, les particules de fil, peuvent à l'usage
tacher graduellement la semelle chauffante. Il est donc
recommandé après le repassage, et si nécessaire, de
frotter la semelle encore chaude avec du papier fort ou
un bon chiffon (ne laissant pas de peluches). Si des
dépôts ou des taches apparaissent sur le plateau
(lorsqu'on a pressé des tissus synthétiques à une
température trop élevée par exemple), nettoyez plus à
fond en utilisant un stick nettoie-fer. Mettez la presse
debout afin que le produit ne coule pas sur la housse.
Ne pas utiliser des produits décapants ou alcalins
(pour four de cuisinières par exemple); il en va de
même pour les produits abrasifs et tampons laine
d'acier.

REINIGEN
Sorgen Sie dafür, daß Ihre Presse stets sauber bleibt.
Sie brauchen nur die äußeren Flächen mit Seifenwasser
reinigen und dann mit einem weichen Tuch
trockenreiben.
26. SCHAUMSTOFFPOLSTER:
Nach längerem Gebrauch verliert das
Schaumstoffpolster unter dem Bügelbrettbezug an
Elastizität und sollte ausgewechselt werden, da sonst
ein perfektes Bügelergebnis nicht mehr gewährleistet ist.
26. BÜGELBRETTBEZUG:
Achten Sie darauf, daß der Bezug stets straff
aufgespannt ist, damit keine Falten entstehen können.
Der Bezug kann bei Temperaturen bis zu 40°C
gewaschen werden, am besten separat, aber auf keinen
Fall zusammen mit weißer Wäsche. Wenn der
Brettbezug abgenutzt oder zerrissen ist, sollten Sie ihn
ersetzen.
27. HEIZPLATTE:
Wie üblich bei einem Bügelvorgang verursachen Faser,
Waschmittel-und Appreturrückstände Ihrer Wäsche
Verunreinigungen auf der Heizplatte. Reiben Sie
deshalb regelmäßig die noch heiße Heizplatte mit einem
starken Papiertuch oder einem nichtflusenden Lappen
ab. Schwer zu entfernende Flecken und Ablagerungen
(z.B. bei zu warm gepressten synthetischen Stoffen)
sollten mit einem Bügeleisenreinigerstift behandelt
werden. Stellen Sie die Bügelpresse gerade, damit das
aufgetragene Reinigungsmittel nicht von der Heizplatte
auf das Bügelbrett tropfen kann. Darauf achten, daß die
Heizplatte vor der Behandlung gut erhitzt wird. Auf
keinen Fall alkalihaltige Produkte (z.B.
Backofenreiniger), scharfe Reinigungsmittel,
Scheuermittel oder Stahlwolle verwenden.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
To keep your press perfectly clean wash the
outside parts with a slightly soapy water and
carefully wipe it off with a soft cloth.
26. THE FOAM
After extensive use, the padding under the
pressing cover will be compressed, affecting the
quality of your pressing. This should be replaced.

Make sure that the cover is always tight enough
so that it does not make pleats. It may be washed
up to 40° C. Avoid mixing it with white linen. If it
shows signs of wear it must be replaced.
27. HEATING PLATE
In any ironing process the starches in fabrics,
residues of cleaning products, and particles of
yarn fibres can gradually cause spots on the
heating plate. To remove these rub the heating
plate while still warm with strong paper or a soft
cloth which does not leave fluff. If “hard to remove”
spots appear on the plate (e.g. if synthetic fabrics
have been pressed at too high a temperature),
clean them off with a cleaning stick. Do not use
scouring powders, alkalines (e.g. for ovens),
abrasives or steel wool.
