MAINTENANCE
CLEANING :
To keep your press perfectly clean wash the outside parts
with a slightly soapy water and carefully wipe it off with a
soft cloth.
THE FOAM:
After extensive use, the padding under the pressing cover
will be compressed, affecting the quality of your pressing.
This should be replaced.
THE COVER
Make sure that the cover is always tight enough so that it
does not make pleats. It may be washed up to 40° C. Avoid
mixing it with white linen. If it shows signs of wear it must
be replaced.
27. HEATING PLATE
Substances contained in fabrics such as cleaning product
residues and thread particles may eventually stain the iron
soleplate.
Please make sure that the soleplate is kept clean at all times
to maintain the iron’s ironing efficiency. So if necessary, after
ironing, rub the plate while it is still warm using a good
quality cloth (one which does not leave any traces- of fluff)
or clean it more thoroughly with an iron-cleaning stick.
Do not use scouring powders, alkalines (as used with ovens),
abrasives or steel wool.

19.TRANSPORT
Il est facile de porter et de ranger la machine. Prenez
soin de la verrouiller avant de la saisir par la poignée.
20. RANGEMENT
Après le repassage, débranchez la presse et laissez-
la refroidir environ 30 minutes avant de la refermer.
Attention : Avant de transporter et ranger votre
presse à repasser, il faut obligatoirement vider le
réservoir d’eau pour éviter tout écoulement d’eau
19. EASY TO CARRY
It is easy to carry and store the machine. Ensure you lock the
machine before carrying it by the handle.
20. STORING
When you have finished your ironing operation, switch off
the appliance and unplug it from mains socket. Let the press
cool down for, about 30 minutes, before closing it.
ATTENTION : Before carrying and storing vertically your
ironing press, it is essential that you empty the water
reservoir to avoid any spillages.
ENTRETIEN
NETTOYAGE :
Veillez à conserver votre presse dans un parfait état
de propreté. Pour cela, il suffit d’en nettoyer les
surfaces extérieures à l’aide d’une eau légèrement
savonneuse et de bien l’essuyer avec un chiffon doux.
LA MOUSSE :
Par suite d’utilisation intensive de longue durée de
la presse, la mousse de rembourrage peut s’aplatir,
ce qui influence défavorablement le résultat du
repassage. Il sera donc nécessaire de la remplacer.
LA HOUSSE :
Veillez à ce que la housse soit toujours correctement
tendue pour qu’elle ne forme pas de plis. Elle peut
être lavée facilement à 40° C. Evitez de la mettre avec
du blanc. Si elle est usée, il faut la remplacer.
SEMELLE CHAUFFANTE :
Les apprêts se trouvant dans les tissus, les résidus des
produits de nettoyage, les particules de fil, peuvent à
l’usage se déposer sur le plateau chauffant. Frottez-
le encore chaud avec un chiffon ne laissant pas de
peluches. Pour nettoyer plus à fond, utilisez un stick
ou une chiffonnette nettoie-fer.
N’utilisez pas de produits décapants ou alcalins (pour
four de cuisinières par exemple), ni de produits
abrasifs ou tampons de laine d’acier.
