TYPES OF WATER

You can use:

Tap water, distilled water for irons.

Do not use :

Rain water, water from the fridge, water from any

evaporating appliance. For appliance with EMC or CAPT system,

water supplied by your water softener if it is indicating the need

for regenerating salts (incompatibility with the system).

Choosing your water

You can use either tap water or distilled water for irons.

Depending upon the calcium level contained in your tap water

as well as upon your weekly ironing time (average time : 2/3

hours), it can be more economical to use distilled water for irons

(not for car batteries). In this case, your cartridge should last up

to 1 year (depending on the volume of your ironing and on the

quantity of steam you ask for).

Dip the strip 1 second into tap water. Ventilate the strip for a few

seconds and wait for the result approximately 1 minute.

Recommendation

1 or 1 1/2 mauve square : you can use tap water

2 or more mauve squares : we advise you to use distilled water

for irons.

Note

In order to ensure long life to your appliance, and prolong the

lifetime of the anti-scale cartridge, we advise you to mix tap and

demineralised water.

TYPES D’EAU A UTILISER

est aDmise : l’eau du robinet, l’eau déminéralisée ou distillée du

commerce.

n’est pas aDmise :

L’eau de pluie, l’eau de récupération du sèche-

linge, du réfrigérateur ou du congélateur, l’eau parfumée, l’eau

fournie par votre adoucisseur si celui-ci fait appel à des sels

régénérants (incompatibilité avec le système “EMC ou CAPT”).

Le choix de l’eau

Suivant l’importance du taux de calcaire dans l’eau du robinet et

pour un repassage moyen de 2 à 3 heures par semaine, il peut

être plus économique d’utiliser l’eau déminéralisée du commerce.

Dans ce cas, la durée d’efﬁcacité de la cassette sera de 1 à 2

années (suivant le volume de repassage et le volume de vapeur

demandé).

Trempez la bandelette test (1 seconde) dans l’eau du robinet et

retirez-la . Ventilez la bandelette test quelques secondes et laissez

agir 1 minute.

Recommandation

1 carré à 1 carré et demi mauve : vous pouvez utiliser de l’eau

du robinet

2 carrés ou plus sont complètement mauves : nous vous conseillons

d’utiliser l’eau déminéralisée du commerce.

NOTE

Aﬁn d’assurer la longévité de votre appareil et de prolonger la

durée de vie de la cassette anticalcaire, nous vous conseillons

d’utiliser un mélange d’eau déminéralisée et d’eau du robinet.

CONSEILS

Bruit de l’appareil

Pour assurer des performances régulières en débit vapeur, votre

appareil de repassage est équipé d’une pompe à injection.

Elle se manifeste dès que vous descendez la poignée en position

vapeur demi-fermée. Elle est davantage audible

1) quand le réservoir d’eau est vide

2) à la première utilisation

3) à chaque changement de cassette anticalcaire

En cours d’utilisation, le ronronnement de la pompe est normal.

TIPS

Noise

To ensure regular steam output performance, your unit is

equipped with an injection pump which is activated each time

you lower the handle in the half closed steam position. It is

louder when:

1) the water tank is empty

2) the unit is used for the ﬁrst time

3) the anti-calc cartridge has just been changed.

The pump can be heard humming during normal use.
