schutzhülle nehmen und in die vorg e s e h e n e
Öffnung setzen.
• Filterschwamm nicht entfernen.
Die Kalkfilter- K a r tusche muss im
Wassertank gut eingesetzt werden, damit
Dampf erzeugt werden kann.
To obtain steam, the anti-scale cartridge
must be inserted into the water tank.
• Remove the water reservoir from its housing by
pulling it towards you.
• Remove the anti-scale cartridge from the bag.
Place it firmly into the water reservoir.
• Do not remove the filtering foam.

INSERTING THE ANTI
SCALE CARTRIDGE
Ve r wendet werden darf: L e i t u n g s w a s s e r,
destilliertes Wasser für Bügelgeräte oder eine Mischung
daraus.
Nicht verwendet werden darf: R e g e n w a s s e r,
Kondenswasser von Wäschetrockner, Abtauwasser vom
Kühlschrank oder ähnlichen Geräten, Wasser aus
E n t h ä r tungsanlagen, die mit Regenerieru n g s s a l z e n
arbeiten.
Die Wahl des Wassers
Je nach der im Leitungswasser enthaltenen Kalkmenge und
für eine Bügelzeit von 2 bis 3 Stunden pro Woche kann es
w i rtschaftlicher sein, Leitungswasser mit handelsüblichem
d e s t i l l i e rten Wasser zu mischen oder ausschließlich
d e s t i l l i e rtes Wasser zu verwenden. Die Lebensdauer der
K a l k f i l t e r - K a rtusche ist abhängig vom Bügelvolumen und vom
H ä rte grad des Wassers. Zur Bestimmung Ihre r
Wa s s e rqualität benutzen Sie das beigelegte Te s t s t ä b c h e n .
13. Anleitung
A . Das Teststäbchen eine Sekunde ins Leitungswasser
tauchen und herausnehmen. Das Teststäbchen an der Luft
einige Sekunden leicht hin- und her bewegen und eine
Minute wirken lassen.
Empfehlung
B . 1 oder 1 1/2 lila gefärbte Felder: Sie können
Leitungswasser verw e n d e n .
C . 2 oder mehr lila gefärbte Felder: 2 oder mehr lila
gefärbte Felder: Wir empfehlen Ihnen, eine Mischung
aus Leitungs- und destilliertem Wasser oder nur
d e s t i l l i e r tes Wasser für Bügelgeräte zu verw e n d e n .
WASSERQUALITÄT
You can use : tap water, distilled water for iro n s .
Do not use : Rain water, water from the fridge, water
f r om any evaporator appliance, water produced by a
condenser tumble drier, water supplied by your water
softener if it indicates that the regenerating salts need
replacing (incompatibility with the EMC system)
Choosing your water
You can use either tap water or distilled water for iro n s .
Depending upon the limescale level of your tap water
and upon your weekly ironing load (average time :
2 / 3 hours), it can be more economical to use distilled
water for irons (not for car batteries). In this case, your
c a rtridge should last up to 1 year (depending on the
amount of your ironing and on the quantity of steam you
ask for).
Instructions
A . Dip the test strip supplied into tap water for 1 second.
Remove, shake it for a few seconds and wait for the
resultant colour change (approximately 1 minute).
Recommendation
B . 1 or 1 1/2 mauve squares : you can use tap water.
C . 2 or more mauve squares : we advise you to use
distilled water for iro n s .
TYPES OF WATER
RATSCHLÄGE

sollten mit einem Wachstuch oder ähnlichem

C. Wir empfehlen, die Wäsche vor dem Bügeln nach
den vom Hersteller empfohlenen
Temperaturbereichen zu sortieren und mit der
niedrigsten Bügeltemperatur zu beginnen.
PRECAUTIONS
A. Place the machine on a hard surface. Air must be
able to circulate freely underneath the appliance
to ensure correct ventilation. Choose a stable
location.
B. If you use a wooden ironing board or table to iron
on, remember to protect it from damp by covering
it with an oilcloth for example.
C. We recommend that you iron articles in the order
indicated on the iron's thermostat dial so that the
temperature gradually increases.
