Beim Gebrauch des Bügelsystems sollten folgende Sicherh e i t s v o r k e h r ungen beachtet werden
- Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, ohne die Gebrauchsanweisung zu lesen.
- Verwenden Sie diesen Apparat nur für die Anwendung, für die er vorgesehen ist :
Reinigung mit Wasserdampf, Bügeln und Entknittern (Gerät mit Bügeleisen).
- Bevor das Gerät das erste Mal ans Stromnetz angeschlossen wird, muss sichergestellt
sein, dass die Netzspannung mit der Angabe auf dem Typenschild übereinstimmt.
- Zur eigenen Sicherheit nur geerdete Steckdose benutzen.
- Das Gerät darf nie unbeaufsichtigt gelassen werden, während es ans Netz
angeschlossen ist. Auch bei kurzzeitigem Verlassen des Raumes Netzstecker ziehen.
- Wenn andere Geräte mit hohem Stromverbrauch gleichzeitig ans Netz angeschlossen
werden, kann dies zu einer Überlastung führen.
- Stecker nie am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen.
- Das Kabel von heißen Flächen fernhalten.
- Der Reiniger darf bei beschädigter Anschlußschnur, undichtem Wasserbehälter oder
Beschädigungen nicht verwendet werden. Um jedes Risiko von elektrischen Schlägen
auszuschließen, den Reiniger nicht auseinandernehmen. Nehmen Sie mit ihrem DOMENA
Kundendienst Kontakt auf, um den Apparat überprüfen oder re p a r i e r en zu lassen.
- Wenn bei der Benutzung des Reinigers Kinder anwesend sind, mit größter Vorsicht
vorgehen. Den Apparat nicht ohne Überwachung angeschlossen lassen und ihn von
Kindern unzugänglich aufbewahren.
- Der Gebrauch von solchen Geräte ist nicht vorgesehen für Personen (inklusive Kinder),
deren körperliche, sensorische oder geistige Kapazitäten oder deren mangelnde
Erfahrung oder Kenntnisse sie nicht in die Lage versetzt, diese Geräte ohne
Überwachung oder Vorerklärung in voller Sicherheit zu benutzen.
- Das Gerät darf nie unbeaufsichtigt gelassen werden, während es ans Netz angeschlossen ist.
- Wenn ein Verlängerungskabel nötig ist, eine Schnur mit 10 A verwenden. Das Kabel
zur Verlängerung so anschließen, daß man nicht darüber stolpern oder den Apparat
abschalten kann. Das Kabel muß eine Erdung aufweisen.
- Zur Verlängerung des Stromkabels nur ein 10 Ampere Kabel verwenden.Darauf
achten, dass das Kabel so auf den Boden gelegt wird, dass man nicht darüber
stolpern kann, oder dass man es nicht versehentlich herausziehen kann. Das Kabel
muss mit einem Erdleiter ausgestattet sein.
- Tauchen Sie ihr Gerät niemals ins Wasser oder in jegliche andere Flüssigkeit, auch
nicht teilweise.
- Nur Zubehörteile von DOMENA verwenden.
- Wenn der Tank beim Nachfüllen von Wasser nicht aus dem Apparat genommen wird,
muß der Stecker herausgezogen werden.
- Den Reiniger nicht auf Treppenstufen oder dort hinstellen, wo er nicht stabil steht oder
die Gefahr eines Umfallens besteht.
- Den Reiniger vor Witterungseinflüssen geschützt aufbewahren.
- Jeder Apparat, der nicht mehr funktionstüchtig ist, muß unbedingt vor dem Wegwerfen
endgültig unbenutzbar gemacht werden, z.B. durch Abschneiden des Steckers.
- Reparaturen nur vom Fachmann ausführen lassen. Bei nicht fachgerechter Reparatur
entfällt der Garantieanspruch.
- Jede Zuwiderhandlung durch eine unbefugte Person hebt die Gültigkeit der Garantie auf.
WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
When using the machine, the following basic precautions should be taken :
- Read carefully the user instructions before using the appliance.
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose, i.e. steam cleaning, ironing and
smoothing (appliance with iron).
- Before connecting your iron to the mains, make sure that your mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage indicated on the rating plate.
- Use a mains supply which has an earth connection, for your own safety.
- To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the
same circuit.
- Never plug in or pull the plug from the socket with wet hands.
- Make sure that the power cable does not touch any hot surfaces.
- When unplugging the machine, pull the plug, not the cable.
- Do not use the iron if it is damaged, if it leaks, or if the power cable is damaged. To
avoid any risk of electric shocks, do not dismantle your iron. Take it to your nearest
After Sales Service dealer for servicing or repair.
- If an extension lead is absolutely necessary, a 10 amp cable should be used. Ensure
noone can trip over or unplug the extension lead. It must be fitted with an earth
connection.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
- Great care must be taken when ironing in the presence of children. Do not leave iron
unattended whilst switched on.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
- Never immerse the machine in water or other liquids, not even partially.
- Use only DOMENA accessories.
- If you fill the water tank without removing it from its compartment in the appliance, it
is essential to unplug the appliance first.
- Do not leave the appliance on stairways or other unstable areas where it might be
knocked over.
- Do not store the appliance out of doors or where there is a risk of frost.
- Any appliance that is no longer usable must be neutralised before being thrown
away : cut off the power lead.
For any repair, take your machine to a registered after-sales service centre, so that the
repair will be in accordance with the standards indicated in this instruction book.
- Any repair done by an unauthorized person would cancel the warranty.
