Verwendet werden darf: Leitungswasser, destilliertes Wasser für
Bügelgeräte oder eine Mischung daraus.
Nicht verwendet werden darf: Regenwasser, Abtauwasser vom
Kühlschrank oder ähnlichen Geräten.
WASSERQUALITÄT
You can use : tap water, distilled water for irons, and water produced by a
condenser tumble drier provided that it is filtered (e.g. through a coffee filter).
Do not use : Rain water, water from the fridge, water from any evaporator
appliance.
TYPES OF WATER
Prüfen Sie die Qualität Ihres Leitungswassers mit dem Teststäbchen und
gemäß dessen Gebrauchsanleitung.
1. Das Teststäbchen eine Sekunde ins Leitungswasser tauchen und her-
ausnehmen. Das Teststäbchen einige Sekunden leicht hin- und her-
bewegen und eine Minute wirken lassen. Zählen Sie die grünen
Felder, die sich lila verfärbt haben.

1. Dip the strip 1 second into tap water. Remove the strip, shake it
briefly and wait for about one minute. Count the number of squares
that have changed colour from green to mauve.
KONTROLLE DER WASSERQUALITÄT
Die Wirkung (Lebensdauer) der Kalkfilter-Kartusche hängt von der
Härte des Leitungswassers (mehr oder weniger kalkhaltig) und von der
durchschnittlichen Benutzungszeit des Gerätes ab.
Bei Benutzung von durchschnittlich 2 Stunden pro Woche (2 Stunden
Verdampfung): wenn das Ergebnis der Wasserkontrolle wie folgt
anzeigt:
A. 1 lila gefärbtes Feld
– wenig Kalk
– die Kartusche alle 2 Jahre austauschen
B. 2 lila gefärbte Felder
– mittlere Kalkmenge
– die Kartusche 1 mal pro Jahr austauschen
C. 3 lila gefärbte Felder
– viel Kalk
– die Kartusche alle 6 Monate austauschen
D. 4 lila gefärbte Felder
– sehr viel Kalk
– die Kartusche alle 3 Monate austauschen.
Die Kalkfilter-Kartusche am Anschluß hochheben und austauschen.
The lifetime of your anti-scale cartridge depends upon the hardness
of your tap water, and also how often you use your appliance.
Based on the average use of 2 hours per week (i.e. 2 hours of
steam) your cartridge will last:
A. 1 square turned to mauve
– this means a low level of scale
– replace your cartridge after 24 months
B. 2 squares turned to mauve
– an average level of scale
– replace your cartridge after 12 months
C. 3 squares turned to mauve
– high level of scale
– change your cartridge after 6 months
D. 4 squares turned to mauve
– extremely hard water
– change your cartridge every 3 months.
Change the anti-scale cartridge by lifting as shown.
