Lebensdauer und Schutz gegen Verkalkung durch
automatische Kalkkontrolle dank Anti-Kalk-System
Das elektronische CAPT-System kontrolliert den Zustand
der Kalkfi lter-Kartusche, indem es fortlaufend die
Anteile an Mineral-Elementen in dem mit der Kartusche
gefi lterten Wasser misst. Das CAPT-System vermeidet so
jegliche Verkalkung.
29. Kontrollleuchten für das Austauschen
der Kalkfi lter-Kartusche
A) Wenn die Kalkfi lter-Kartusche an Wirksamkeit verliert,
schaltet sich das CAPT-System ein. Es blinkt die
Kontrollleuchte ANTI-CALC, um darauf aufmerksam
zu machen, dass die Kartusche ausgetauscht werden
muss.
B) Wenn die Kalkfi lter-Kartusche nicht ausgetauscht
wird, unterbricht das CAPT-System selbsttätig den
Dampfaustritt und ein Warnton erklingt bei Betätigen
des Dampfknopfs. Falls bisher mit Leitungswasser
gearbeitet wurde, kann kurzzeitig noch destilliertes
Wasser benutzt werden.
Um wieder Dampf zu erhalten, muss zwingend die
Kalkfi lter-Kartusche ausgetauscht werden. Nach
dem Austauschen der Kartusche schalten Sie Ihr
Gerät aus und dann wieder ein, um die normalen
Benutzungsbedingungen wieder zu erlangen (warten Sie
90 Sekunden, bis das Gerät betriebsbereit ist). Betätigen
Sie den Dampfknopf so lange, bis Dampf austritt.
CHANGING THE ANTISCALE
CARTRIDGE
The electronic EMC/CAPT system measures the effec-
tiveness of the anti-scale cartridge by constantly moni-
toring the scale content of the fi ltered water. The EMC/
CAPT system therefore eliminates any risk of scaling.
29. Anti-scale cartridge change indicator
light
A) When the anti-scale cartridge begins losing its
effectiveness, the EMC/CAPT system is activated.
The indicator light begins fl ashing to show that the
cartridge must be changed soon.
B) If the water-softening cartridge is not changed, the
EMC/CAPT system itself stops the production of
steam after a certain amount of ironing time. An
audible warning then sounds if you press the steam
trigger.
To produce steam again, either the antiscale cartridge
must be changed or distilled water must be used. After
changing the cartridge, the unit must be turned off and
on again in order to recreate normal operating condi-
tions (Wait 90 seconds before the trying to use the iron).
Press steam trigger until steam comes out.

BÜGELTISCHBEZUG
WASCHANLEITUNG: Handwaschen 30° C.
Entspannen Sie den Kordelzug, bevor Sie den Bezug vom
Tisch abziehen.
30. Um den Bezug wieder am Tisch zu befestigen,
zentrieren Sie ihn und ziehen Sie den Kordelzug, bis
der Bezug gut gespannt ist.
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme empfehlen wir Ihnen, den
Bezug zu bügeln, damit er glatt ist.
IRONING BOARD COVER
Washing instructions : wash by hand at 30°C. To remove
the cover, loosen the cord.
30. When replacing the cover, make sure that it is
centred on the board. Gently pull the cord until the
cover matches the shape of the table.
Before using a cover for the fi rst time it is recommended
that it is given a quick iron to remove any creases.
PFLEGE UND WARTUNG
Die Bügeleisensohle kann durch Waschmittelrückstände,
durch die Appretur der Stoffe und Fasern verunreinigt
werden und gleitet dann nicht mehr leicht über den Stoff
Deshalb Bügeleisen nach dem Bügeln mit einem nicht
fl usenden Lappen abreiben. Auf keinen Fall alkalihaltige
Produkte (z.B. Backofenreiniger), scharfe Reinigungsmittel,
Scheuermittel oder Stahlwolle verwenden.
Das Bügeleisen gleitet nur dann leicht über den Stoff,
wenn die Sohle nicht verschmutzt ist.
MAINTENANCE
Substances contained in fabrics such as cleaning product
residues and thread particles may eventually stain the
iron soleplate. So if necessary, after ironing rub the plate
while it is still warm using a good quality cloth (one
which does not leave any traces of fl uff) or clean it more
thoroughly with an iron-cleaning stick. Do not use scou-
ring powders, alkalines (as used with ovens), abrasives
or steel wool. Please make sure that the soleplate is kept
clean at all times to maintain the iron’s ironing effi ciency.
