Getting Started

z Insert the battery

The player operates on a single AAA battery, which is included. Insert the battery in the player

by removing the cap covering the USB connector and sliding the battery panel on the back of the

player toward the USB connector to expose the battery chamber. The player can also be played

without a battery when using the USB power supply.

z Connect the earphones

Connect the earphones to the player by inserting the plug into the earphone jack. The earphones

are designed to be worn like a necklace around the user’s neck. For extra support, attach the small

loop (near the plug) to the ring on the end of the player. The small loop detaches from the

earphones by pressing the button in the center of the red plastic circle near the plug.

z Turn on the player

Press and hold (long press) the PLAY/POWER button until the blue light reads “MP3.”

z Play pre-loaded files

If the following screen appears automatically, short press the MODE button when the musical

notes are highlighted. This is the Music Mode.

Short press the PLAY button to play the files that have been loaded on your player.

z Change your language settings if desired

The player can operate in the following languages: Simple Chinese,Trad Chinese, English,

Japanese, Korean, German,French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Czech,Dutch,Portuguese, Denmark,

Polish, Russian and Hebrgw. To change the language settings, long press the MODE button to

go to the Main Menu. Use the NEXT button until you reach the SYSTEM option.

Short press the MODE button and use the NEXT button until you reach the Language option.

Short press the MODE button and use the NEXT button until your desired language is highlighted.

See the Language Submenu on page 6 for options.

Short press the MODE button to select your new language.
