6. MAINTENANCE
6.1 Each month
* Grease the cardan joint.
6.2 Each three months
* Check the control cables for broken strands,
kinks or frayed sections primarily at the ends
of the cables. Replace cable if any of the
above conditions are found. If cables are in
order, apply a few drops of light oil to the
inner cables at their upper ends.
* Lubricate the drive chain with light oil.
* Apply light oil on all articulation joints.
* All nuts and bolts are equipped with locking
devices (lock nuts, self locking nuts, lock
washers), nevertheless check their tightening
periodically.
* Check the tightening of the pedal axles
(clockwise for the right pedal, counter
clockwise for the left one).
6. WARTUNG
6.1 Monatlich
* Den Antriebskardan schmieren.
6.2 Alle drei Monate
* Prüfen, ob die Enden der Stahlkabel der
Bremsgetriebe und der Kettenschaltung
ausgefranst sind und Knoten oder Risse
aufweisen. Gegebenenfalls die Kabel
ersetzen. Wenn sie in gutem Zustand sind,
mit ein paar Tropfen Öl an den Enden der
Umhüllungen schmieren.
* Die Kette mit Öl schmieren.
* Die Rahmengelenke mit ein paar Tropfen
Öl schmieren.
* Alle Schrauben sind mit einer
Sperrvorrichtung (Gegenmutter,
selbsthemmende Muttern,…) versehen:
Prüfen, ob sie fest angezogen sind.
* Mit einem grossen Schraubenzieher prüfen,
ob die Pedalachse an den Tretkurbeln (linkes
Gewinde im linken Pedal und rechtes
Gewinde im rechten Pedal) angezogen ist.
6. ONDERHOUD
6.1 Iedere maand
* De cardankoppeling van de aandrijving
smeren.
6.2 Iedere drie maanden
* Controleer of de stalen kabels van de remmen
en van de derailleur niet gerafeld zijn aan de
uiteinden, of er geen knopen of breuken in
zitten. Vervang anders de kabels. Als de
kabels in goede staat zijn, smeer ze dan met
enkele druppels olie op de uiteinden van de
hulzen.
* Smeer de ketting met olie.
* Smeer de scharnierpunten van het frame met
enkele druppels olie.
* Alle schroeven zijn voorzien van een
blokkeersysteem (contramoer,
zelfblokkerende moeren,…): controleer of
ze goed vast zitten.
* Controleer met een grote schroevendraaier
of de as van het pedaal goed op de crank
vast zit (links schroefdraad op het
linkerpedaal, rechts schroefdraad op het
rechterpedaal).
