λάθος το πριόνι ο προφυλακτήρας μπορεί

να καμφθεί. Ελέγξτε και βεβαιωθείτε ότι

ο προφυλακτήρας κινείται ελεύθερα και

δεν αγγίζει τη λεπίδα ή οποιοδήποτε άλλο

εξάρτημα σε κάθε γωνία και βάθος κοπής.

Ο προφυλακτήρας μπορεί

να λειτουργεί αργά λόγω εξαρτημάτων

που έχουν υποστεί ζημιά, λόγω ιξωδών

επικαθήσεων ή λόγω συσσώρευσης

ρινισμάτων.

Τυχόν πλευρική

μετατόπιση της λεπίδας ενδέχεται να

προκαλέσει κάμψη της και ενδεχόμενη

ανάκρουση.

πάχος από το σώμα της λεπίδας, αλλά

να είναι πιο λεπτό από την οδόντωση της

ευθυγράμμισης ενδέχεται να καταστήσει

το μαχαίρι κοπής αναποτελεσματικό στην

ανάκρουσης κατά τις σύντομες κοπές.
