• Plaats het boortje of de schroevedraaierbit zo ver
mogelijk in de boorhouder. Trek het boortje of de
bit daarna iets terug.
• Klem het boortje of de bit stevig vast door de
kraag rechtsom te draaien.
• Verwijder het boortje of de bit in omgekeerde
volgorde.
Kiezen van de boorstand of instellen van het
koppel (fig. D)
De instelring kent een groot aantal verschillende posities
voor het afstemmen van het koppel op de gebruikte
schroeven en het materiaal van het werkstuk.
Voor instelling van het koppel, zie «In- en uitdraaien
van schroeven».
• Kies de gewenste boorstand of het juiste
koppel door de instelring (5) te verdraaien tot
het betreffende symbool of positienummer recht
tegenover de indicatie (16) op het motorhuis staat.
DC981, DC984, DC988
De klopboormachines hebben twee verschillende
functies:
Boren: boren in staal, hout en
kunststoffen
Klopboren: boren in steen en beton
L/R-schakelaar (fig. E)
• Selecteer de draairichting (linksom of rechtsom)
door het verschuiven van de L/R-schakelaar (2),
zoals afgebeeld (zie de pijlen op de machine).
WAARSCHUWING: Wijzig de
draairichting uitsluitend als de machine
volledig stilstaat.
Mechanische toerenomschakelaar (fig. F)
Uw machine is uitgerust met een mechanische
toerenomschakelaar (6) waarmee de verhouding
tussen toerental en koppel kan worden gewijzigd.
1 lage snelheid/hoog koppel
2 middelhoge snelheid/middelhoog koppel
3 hoge snelheid/laag koppel
Meer informatie over de toerentallen vindt u in de
technische gegevens.
WAARSCHUWING: Verdraai de
schakelaar niet bij volle belasting of tijdens
het gebruik.
BEDIENING
Aanwijzingen voor gebruik
WAARSCHUWING:
• Neem altijd de veiligheidsinstructies
in acht en houdt u aan de geldende
voorschriften.
• Let op de eventueel aanwezige gas-,
water- en elektriciteitsleidingen.
• Forceer de machine niet.
Juiste positie van de handen
(fi g. A, G)
WAARSCHUWING: Om het risico op
ernstig persoonlijk letsel te verminderen,
dient u ALTIJD de handen in de juiste
positie te hebben, zoals afgebeeld.
WAARSCHUWING: Om het risico op
ernstig persoonlijk letsel te verminderen,
houdt u het ALTIJD stevig vast,
anticiperend op een plotseling reactie.
DC980, DC981, DC984
De juiste positie van de handen is wanneer de ene
hand zich op de hoofdgreep (8) bevindt, terwijl de
andere hand zoals op de afbeelding de behuizing vast
houdt.
DC987, DC988
De juiste positie van de handen betekent één hand
aan de handgreep (8), terwijl u met de andere hand
de zijhandgreep (9) vasthoudt.
In- en uitschakelen (fig. A, E)
• Druk op de schakelaar (1) om de machine te
starten. Het toerental van de machine wordt
bepaald door de druk die op de schakelaar wordt
uitgeoefend.
• Stop de machine door de schakelaar los te laten.
• Schuif de L/R-schakelaar (2) in de middenstand
om de machine in de UIT-stand te blokkeren.
In- en uitdraaien van schroeven (fig. A)
• Selecteer de gewenste draairichting met de L/R-
schakelaar (2).
• Zet de instelring (4) in pos. 1 (laag koppel) en draai
de schroef in het werkstuk.
