accusets staan rechtop op de accuset,
waardoor deze makkelijk omver kan
vallen.
SPECIFIEKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES VOOR NIKKEL
CADMIUM (NiCd) OF NIKKEL METAAL HYDRIDE (NiMH)
• Verbrand de accuset niet, ook al is deze
ernstig beschadigd of totaal versleten. De
accuset kan ontploffen in vuur.
• Er kan een klein vloeistoflek optreden uit
de accuset bij extreem gebruik of extreme
temperaturen. Dit wijst niet op een probleem.
Als de buitenste zegel echter gebroken is:
a. en de batterijvloeistof raakt uw huid, was
deze dan onmiddellijk met zeep en water
gedurende verschillende minuten.
b. en de batterijvloeistof komt in uw ogen
terecht, spoel deze dan met schoon water
gedurende minimaal 10 minuten uit en zoek
onmiddellijk medische hulp. (Medische
opmerking: de vloeistof is 25-35% oplossing
van kaliumhydroxide.)
SPECIFIEKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES VOOR LITHIUM-ION
(LI-ION)
• Verbrand de accuset niet, ook als deze
ernstig beschadigd is of volledig versleten.
De accuset kan ontploffen in vuur. Er ontstaan
giftige dampen en materialen wanneer lithium-
ion accusets verbrand worden.
• Als de batterij-inhoud in contact komt met
de huid, was deze onmiddellijk met milde
zeep en water. Als de batterij-inhoud in de
ogen terecht komt, spoel water over het open
oog gedurende 15 minuten of totdat de irritatie
stopt. Indien medische hulp noodzakelijk is: de
elektrolyt is samengesteld uit een mengeling
van vloeibare organische carbonaten en
lithiumzouten.
• De inhoud van geopende batterijcellen kan
irritatie bij ademhaling veroorzaken. Zorg
voor frisse lucht. Als de symptomen blijven
aanhouden, schakelt u het beste medische
hulp in.
WAARSCHUWING: Risico op
brandwonden. Batterijvloeistof kan
ontvlambaar zijn als deze blootgesteld
wordt aan vonken of vlammen.
Accudop (fi g. 3)
Een beschermende accudop wordt meegeleverd
om de aansluitpunten van een losgekoppelde accu
te bedekken. Zonder de beschermdop zouden
losse metalen voorwerpen de aansluitpunten kunnen
kortsluiten, wat leidt tot een brandrisico en schade
aan de accu veroorzaakt.
1. Verwijder de beschermende accudop voordat
u de accuset in de lader of het apparaat plaatst
(fig. 3A).
2. Plaats de beschermdop onmiddellijk op de
aansluitpunten nadat u de accu uit de lader of
het werktuig hebt verwijderd (fig. 3B).
WAARSCHUWING: Zorg dat de
beschermende accudop op zijn plaats
zit voordat u een losgekoppelde accu
oppakt of opbergt.

De DC411 werken op accusets van 18 volt.
Conseils pour le rangement
1. Il est vivement conseillé de ranger le bloc-piles
dans un endroit frais et sec, à l’abri des rayons
directs du soleil et d’une chaleur ou d’un froid
excessifs.
2. Une conservation prolongée n’affecte pas le
bloc-piles ou le chargeur. Dans de bonnes
conditions, ils peuvent être conservés pendant
5 ans ou plus.
