El reloj que ha adquirido es una obra maestra de la electrónica y la mecánica
de gran precisión que puede indicarle la hora exacta durante mucho tiempo.
Protéjalo pues de los golpes, los campos magnéticos, las altas temperaturas,
el agua y productos químicos, así como del desgaste causado por el roce.
Por ejemplo, para dormir, debería quitarse el reloj.
En el caso de que un reloj que funciona a pilas se quedará parado o indicará la
pérdida de carga de la pila, deberá llevarlo inmediatamente a un
establecimiento especializado para que la pila vacía no cause daños ni al reloj ni
al medio ambiente.
El cambio de la pila deberá efectuarse con una frecuencia de entre un año, año
y medio, en una establecimiento especializado. Aproveche la ocasión y mande
controlar también el estado de los elementos aislantes del reloj y, en caso de
ser necesarios, cámbielos.
En el caso de que se condensara agua (niebla bajo la esfera), lleve el reloj
inmediatamente a un establecimiento especializado para evitar que la humedad
dañe el mecanismo del reloj. Lleve siempre el reloj con la corona roscada o
atornillada.
