Datenkommunikation

Die mitgelieferte Kommunikationssoftware ermöglicht Ihnen, mit Ihrem Rechner über die

V.24 PC-Schnittstelle die ISDN-Dienste Datenübertragung, Empfangen und Senden

von Telefaxen (Gruppe 3 und 4) und E-Mails, Mailbox-Verbindungen, Anrufbeantwor-

ter-Funktion und Internet-Anwendungen zu nutzen.

V.24-Schnittstelle

Der Euromaster Data verfügt über eine serielle V.24-Schnittstelle, die sich an der Rück-

seite des Euromaster Data befindet.

Über diese Schnittstelle werden die Daten zwischen dem Rechner und dem

Euromaster Data übertragen.

Systemvoraussetzungen

Für die Installation der PC-Software für den Euromaster Data sind folgende Systemvor-

aussetzungen erforderlich:

IBM-Rechner oder 100% kompatibler Rechner;

• Pentium mit einer Taktfrequenz von 100 MHz oder höher;

• Arbeitsspeicher mind. 16 MB;

• Microsoft Windows 95/98;

• CD-ROM-Laufwerk;

• eine freie serielle Schnitstelle (COM-Port) mit Schnittstellenbaustein UART 16550 mit

einem Datendurchsatz von mind. 115 kBit/s.

Rechner, die 1996 oder später hergestellt wurden, verfügen in den meisten Fällen

über diesen Schnittstellenbaustein. Informieren Sie sich ggf. bei Ihrem Händler bzw.

beim Hersteller oder in der Gebrauchsanleitung Ihres Rechners.

Wichtig: Nutzen Sie die Software nur auf Einzelplatzsystemen, nicht in Netzwerkum-

gebungen.

Deinstallieren Sie vor Installation der auf der mitgelieferten CD befindlichen Treiber

eventuell bereits vorhandene CAPI-Treiber früher installierter ISDN-Karten oder Endge-

räte. Diese Dateien könnten bei Installation überschrieben oder zerstört werden.
