Caution, precautions
It is recommended that you charge the batteries on a regular basis, or after each use. These batteries
have no memory effect. To maximize the life of your battery, it is recommended that you:
• Avoid hot places (ideal charging temperature at 20°C)
• Leave the battery to cool for 30 minutes after using it
Precautions for use:
• Only use the battery for this bicycle.
• Use only the specific charger supplied to charge the battery.
• Only charge the battery in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not expose the battery to heat or charge it in direct sunlight.
• Do not disassemble or modify the case and the battery that is built into the case.
• Do not connect the (+) and (-) connections of the battery with a metal object.
• Do not expose the battery to liquids.
• Do not use a damaged battery.
• Do not continue charging the battery if the charge is not complete after the
theoretical charging time.
• Do not use the battery if it is giving off an unusual smell, is unusually hot, or
something is wrong.
• Do not leave the battery within the reach of children.
• Recharge your battery before it goes into storage for a long time and perform the
same operation after coming out of storage.
Batteries can suffer from ageing in their performance after a large number of
charges. This will depend on the usage patterns of the power-assisted bicycle.
You must dispose of your used batteries at your local store or recycling depot.
Above all, do not dispose of your finished battery into the environment.
