Elk jaar of na 2000 km:

• Controleer slijtageniveaus (remblokken of -blokken, transmissie),

• Controle van de werking van de elektrische ondersteuning,

• Lagercontrole (pedaalschaal, wielen, stuur, pedalen),

• Kabelbediening (remmen, derailleur),

• Controle van de lichten,

• Wieldruk en/of uitlijning

Elke 3 jaar of na 6000 km:

• Transmissie vervangen (ketting, freewheel, crankstel),

• Controle van de werking van elektrische ondersteuning,

• Band vervangen,

• Wielslijtage controleren (spaken, velg),

• Spaakdruk en/of wieluitlijning,

• Remblokken of -blokken vervangen,

• Controle van de elektrische functies.

Trapondersteuning en accu

De berijder moet de pedalen naar voren draaien om te profiteren van de gemotoriseerde ondersteuning.

Dit is een belangrijk beveiligingsaspect. Deze elektrische hulpfiets geeft gemotoriseerde ondersteuning

tot een snelheid van 25 km/u. Daarbuiten slaat de motor af. Het is mogelijk om sneller te gaan, maar met

meer inspanning en zonder elektrische ondersteuning.

De motor draait pas als de pedalen een volledige draai hebben gegeven. Deze functie beschermt de motor

en controller en verlengt de levensduur van de elektrische componenten.
