PRECA UTIONS
Caution
1) Do not attempt to open the cabinet. There are no par ts
you can service inside. Ref er all ser vicing to qualified ser-
vice personnel.
2)
Slot and openings in the cabinet and at the side or bottom
are provided f or ventilation. T o ensure reliable operation
and to protect the unit from ov erheating these opening
must not be bloc ked or co vered. Av oid enclosed spaces
such as book cases unless proper ventilation is pro vided.
3) Keep the unit a wa y from the radiator heat sources.
4) Av oid using near strong magnetic fields.
5) Do not push objects of any kind into this through the cabi-
net slot as they could touch current carrying par ts or
shor t circuit parts resulting in a fire or electr ic shock.
6) Nev er spill liquid of any kind on this unit.
If liquid is spilled into the unit, consult qualified ser vice
engineer .
7) Use this unit in a hor iz ontal (flat) position only .
8) This equipment is in Stand-by mode when it turns off
whilst the power cord is connected.
9) Keep the set free from moisture ,water and dust.
1 0 ) Handle the po wer cord carefully . Hold the plug when
unplugging the code.
1 1 ) All the saf ety cautions and operating instr uctions should
be read before the D VD pla yer is oper ated.
1 2 ) Use caution not to pinch y our finger in the disc slot.
1 3 ) Do not put hea vy objects on the A C power cord.
1 4 ) K eep the AC pow er cord aw ay from heat appliances .
1 5 ) Be sure to remo ve a disc and unplug the A C power cord
from the outlet before carrying the D VD play er .
1 6 ) Do not put an y pressure to the D VD play er when carr ying.
1 7 ) Do not use the D VD pla yer outdoors .

• Do not handle the power cord with w et hands.
• Do not pull on the pow er cord when disconnecting it from
AC w all outlet. Gr asp it by the plug.
• If , by accident, w ater is spilled on this unit, unplug the
power cord immediately and tak e the unit to our A uthorized
Service Center for ser vicing.
Moisture condensation may occur inside the unit when it is
mov ed from a cold place to a warm place, or after heating a
cold room or under conditions of high humidity . Do not use the
D VD Play er at least for 2 hours until its inside is dry .
