Turns power to this unit on and off (standby).
w Power indicator ············································ (8)
The power indicator changes as shown below
according to the status of the unit.
•Standby ......................................................Red
•Network standby.................................. Orange
•Auto standby ............................................... Off
NOTE
The DENON PROFESSIONAL logo on the front
panel lights blue when the power is turned on.
e Volume adjustment knob (LEVEL) ············· (5)
Adjusts the volume of headphones and the front
speakers.
Press the switch to make it spring out. After
adjusting the volume, press the switch back in
again.
r Headphones jack (PHONES) ························ (5)
t Front speaker
y Speaker output switch
(SPEAKER ON/OFF) ······································ (4)
Switch to “ON” to output audio from the front
speakers of the unit.
When this switch is “OFF”, sound is not output
from the front speakers of the unit.
u Audio output switch
(OUT PUT ON/OFF) ······································ (4)
Switch to “ON” to output audio to an external
device connected to the unit.
When this switch is “OFF”, audio is not output
to the external device.
i USB port ················································ (23, 25)
Used to connect USB memory devices or iPod.
o Display
Displays play status, settings, etc.
Q0 Remote control sensor ································ (3)
Q1 Input source select button (SOURCE) ········ (9)
Selects the input source.
Q2 Favorite button (FAVORITE) ······················ (22)
Calls stations or files registered in the favorite
list. Also registers stations or files to the favorite
list.
Q3 Cursor buttons (uio p) ···························· (9)
Q4 Play/Pause button (1/3) ···························· (9)
ENTER button ··············································· (9)
The buttons on the unit are lit when they can be
operated, and off when they cannot be operated.
q FM antenna terminal ···································· (6)
Connect the supplied FM indoor antenna.
Connect to an external antenna if reception is
poor.
w AM antenna terminal ··································· (6)
Connect to the supplied AM loop antenna.
e BALANCED OUT connectors ······················· (4)
Connect a separate Amplifier, Mixer, or Pre
amplifier (sold separately).
Use the following types of cable to connect the
devices.
•XLR Type
•Pin Arrangement: 1GND, 2 Hot, 3 Cold
•Applicable Connector: XLR-3-11C or equivalent
