Number buttons (1~10, +10)
Press this button to select the
desired track number when the
function is set to “CD”.
Press this button to call out preset
AM and FM stations using their
preset numbers when the function
is set to “TUNER”.
TIME button
The time display switches as shown
below each time this button is
pressed while a CD is in the play or
pause mode.
(Normally the elapsed time of the
currently playing track is displayed.
During programmed playback, the
total remaining time for the
programmed tracks is displayed
instead of the total remaining time
of the disc. For MP3 files, only the
elapsed time of the currently playing
track is displayed.)
TITLE button
When this is pressed while in the
stop mode with a track selected and
the function set to “CD” with a disc
containing an MP3 ID3-Tag loaded,
the file name is displayed. When
pressed during playback, the display
switches as shown below. (See
page 26)

Press this button to turn on the
power of the entire system or set
the power to the standby mode.
PROG/DIRECT button
Press this button to switch between
program playback and direct

CALL button
Press this button to check the
programmed tracks when the
function is set to “CD”. (See page
24.)
Press this to check the preset
number of the preset AM or FM
station that is currently tuned
when the function is set to
“TUNER”. (See page 16.)
CLEAR button
Press this button to clear the track
from the program.
REPEAT button
Press this button for repeat
playback. (See pages 24, 25, 27, 28.)
RANDOM button
Press this button to set the tracks in
random order. (See pages 24, 27.)
SLEEP button
Press this button to set the sleep
timer. (See page 20.)
FOLDER button
When the function is set to “CD”
and disc containing MP3 format files
is loaded, in the stop mode press
the FOLDER button then press the
+ and buttons to select a folder.
When pressed during playback, the
name of the folder containing the
currently playing file is displayed.

Press this to complete a menu

TONE/SDB button
The sound can be adjusted to suit
your tastes using the tone controls
(BASS, MID and TREBLE) and SDB
function. (See page 21.)
Each time you press this button,
the display changes as follows:
Treble 0dB
SDB Off
Bass 0dB Mid 0dB
The + and buttons can be pressd
to increase and decrease the level
of the bass, mid-range or treble
when the corresponding indicator
is lit.
When the SDB (Super Dynamic
Bass) indicator is lit, press the +
and buttons to switch the SDB
function on and off.
The display automatically returns
to normal about 5 seconds after an
operation is performed.
MUTE button
Press this button to temporarily
mute the sound.
