DESCALING
CAUTION: refer to safety precautions.

INFORMATION: descaling time is approximately 25 minutes.
NOTE: to ensure a perfect coee experience time after time and a good functioning of
the machine this is important to descale your machine when needed. When the descaling
alert starts to blink, it is time to descale your machine. The machine can still prepare
several milk beverages before it is blocked preventively. The blockage prevents any
damages to the machine and ensure its proper functioning over its lifetime. In case the
machine is blocked, please descale your machine or contact the Nespresso club.
IMPORTANT: when the machine needs to be descaled, there are 2 dierent speeds for the
blinking of the descaling LED alert: fast blinking indicates only few preparations can be
made before the machine is blocked.
IMPORTANT: please make sure to complete the entire descaling procedure. If it is not
completed, the machine will remain blocked.
IMPORTANT: lorsque la machine doit être détartrée, il y a 2 diérentes vitesses de
clignotement du LED Détartrage: un clignotement rapide indique que seules quelques
préparations peuvent être faites avant que la machine se bloque.
IMPORTANT: veuillez vous assurer que la procédure de détartrage soit faite au complet.

1. Descale the machine when descaling alert
shines orange in ready mode.
2. Lift and close the lever to eject any capsules in
the used capsule container.
3. Empty the drip tray and the used capsules
container. Fill the water tank with 100 ml of
Nespresso descaling agent and 500 ml water.
4. Open the descaling pipe storage door. Plug
the descaling pipe into steam connector of
machine.

/DÉTARTRAGE
2. Levez et fermez le levier an d'éjecter la
capsule dans le bac à capsules usagées.
1. Détartrez la machine lorsque l'alerte détartrage
est allumée en orange en mode marche.
AVERTISSEMENT: référez-vous aux consignes de sécurité.
3. Videz le bac d'égouttage et le bac à capsules
usagées.Remplissez le réservoir d'eau avec 100 ml
de produit détartrant Nespresso et 500 ml d'eau.
4. Ouvrir l'espace de rangement de l'emboût de
détartrage. Connecter l'embout détartrage sur le
connecteur vapeur de la machine.
NOTE: le processus de détartrage dure environ 25 minutes.
NOTE: an d'assurer une expérience café aussi parfaite qu'au premier jour, nous vous
recommandons de détartrer votre machine lorsque c'est nécessaire. Lorsque l'alerte
détartrage commence à clignoter, votre machine doit être détartrée. La machine peut
encore faire quelques préparations à base de lait avant de se bloquer de manière préventive.
Ce blocage permet d'éviter des dommages à votre machine et ainsi assurer son bon
fonctionnement tout au long de sa vie. En cas de blocage de votre machine, veuillez la
détartrer ou contacter le Club Nespresso.
