BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE, PLEASE READ
Check that the voltage of the electrical outlet cor-
responds to the voltage indicated on the label on
the appliance. Before using the appliance for the
first time, carefully wash and dry the juicing
cone, filter, container and non-drip spout
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
Assemble the appliance as follows:
1.Insert the two ends of the juicing lever (I) into the
guides (fig. 1).
2.Make sure the juicing lever (I) is mounted cor-
rectly by raising and lowering the lever.
3.Insert the cover into the lever ring (H) and push
as far as it will go, making sure the tab on the
ring fits into the hole in the cover (fig. 2).
At this point, the appliance is ready for juicing.
USE
1.Place the container (F) on the motor base (M).
2.Fit the bottom filter (D) and top filter (C).
3.Place the filter assembly on the motor base (M),
making sure the juice density selector (E) is positio-
ned in the hollow in the motor base (fig. 3).
4.Fit the cone (B) onto the motor shaft (L).
5.Place a glass under the non-drip spout (G) and
press the spout downwards (fig. 4).
6.Plug into the mains.
7.Cut the citrus fruit in half.
8.Place half a fruit onto the cone and lower the cover
(A) by pushing the juicing lever (I) down and pres-
sing lightly.
The motor is designed to rotate in either direc-
tion to optimise the juicing effect; press the fruit
intermittently and the motor will invert its rota-
tional direction.
NB: the juice density selector (E) enables the
quantity of pulp in the juice to be regulated by
making the holes in the filter smaller or larger.
To reduce the amount of pulp, move the juice
density selector (E) left as far as it will go. To
increase the quantity of pulp, move the selector
(E) to the opposite side.
Important: never use the appliance continuously
for more than four minutes.
9.When you have finished juicing, to reduce drips,
replace the non-drip spout (G) in the raised position
(fig. 5).
