296 Problemen oplossen
• Als het aan/uit-lampje uit is, is de computer uitgeschakeld of ontvangt
deze geen stroom.
– Sluit een uiteinde van het stroomsnoer opnieuw op de
stroomaansluiting aan de achterzijde van de computer aan, en sluit
het andere uiteinde van het stroomsnoer op een stopcontact aan.
– Als de computer is aangesloten op een stekkerdoos, moet u
controleren of de stekkerdoos is aangesloten op een stopcontact en of
de stekkerdoos is ingeschakeld.
– Vervang stroombeveiligingsvoorzieningen, stekkerdozen en
verleningskabels door vergelijkbare producten waarvan u zeker bent
dat ze naar behoren werken, en ga na of de computer nu wel kan
worden ingeschakeld.
– Controleer of het stopcontact naar behoren werkt door er een ander
apparaat, zoals bijvoorbeeld een lamp, op aan te sluiten.
– Controleer of de stroomkabel en de kabel voor het voorpaneel stevig
zijn aangesloten op het moederbord (zie voor instructies de
Onderhoudshandleiding
voor uw computer).
• Als het aan/uit-lampje oranje knippert, ontvangt de computer wel stroom,
maar is er sprake van een probleem met de interne stroomvoorziening.
– Als uw computer voorzien is van een stroomselectieschakelaar, moet u
nagaan of deze is ingesteld op de op uw locatie beschibare netstroom.
– Controleer of de stroomkabel voor de processor stevig is aangesloten
op het moederbord (zie voor instructies de
Onderhoudshandleiding
voor uw computer).
• Als het aan/uit-lampje oranje brandt, is er een apparaat defect of verkeerd
geïnstalleerd.
– Verwijder de geheugenmodules en installeer deze opnieuw. Raadpleeg
voor instructies de documentatie bij uw computer werd geleverd.
– Verwijder eventuele kaarten en installeer deze opnieuw. Raadpleeg
voor instructies de documentatie bij uw computer werd geleverd.
• Hef mogelijke storingsbronnen op. Mogelijke oorzaken van storing:
– Stroom-, toetsenbord- en muisverlengkabels
– Er zijn teveel apparaten op een stekkerdoos aangesloten
– Er zijn meerdere stekkerdozen op hetzelfde stopcontact aangesloten.
