Diagnose-Signaltoncodes

Während des Startvorgangs kann das System eine Reihe von Signaltönen

abgeben, wenn auf der Anzeige keine Fehlermeldungen oder Probleme

angezeigt werden können. Anhand dieser Reihe von Signaltönen, die auch als

Signaltoncode bezeichnet werden, lassen sich verschieden Probleme

identifizieren. Zwischen jedem Signalton sind 300 ms und zwischen jeder

Signaltonserie 3 Sekunden Pause. Jeder Ton dauert 300 ms. Nach jedem Signal

und jeder Signaltonserie sollte das BIOS feststellen, ob der Benutzer den

Startschalter betätigt. Wenn ja, springt das BIOS aus der Schleife und führt

einen normalen Abschaltvorgang und Stromversorgung durch.
