5. Installeer de vervangende modem:
a. Sluit de modemkabel aan op de modem.
b. Breng de modem in een lijn met de schroefgaten en druk de modem in de ingang op het moederbord.
c. Draai de schroef terug die de modem vasthoudt op het moederbord.
6. Vervang de dekplaat voor de minikaart/modem.
Minikaart
Alsueenminikaartbijuwcomputerhebtbesteld,isdezealgeïnstalleerd.
1. Volg de procedures in Voordat u begint.
2. Draai de computer om en maakt de geborgde schroeven los die de dekplaat van de minikaart/modem op zijn plaats houden.
3. Plaats uw vinger bij de inkeping onder de dekplaat en til de dekplaat op om deze te verwijderen.
4. Ga naar stap 5alseenminikaartnognietisgeïnstalleerd.Alsueenminikaartwiltvervangen,moetueerstdebestaandekaartverwijderen:
a. Maak de antennekabels los van de minikaart.
b. Maak de minikaart los door de metalen houderklemmen in de richting van de achterkant van de computer te duwen tot de kaart iets omhoog
komt.
c. Til de minikaart uit de bijbehorende ingang.
KENNISGEVING: De kaartingangen zijn zodanig ontworpen dat kaarten alleen op de juiste wijze kunnen worden aangebracht. Als u weerstand voelt,
moet u de ingangen controleren en de kaart in de juiste stand aanbrengen.
LET OP: Voordat u met een van de procedures in dit gedeelte begint, moet u de veiligheidsinstructies in de productinformatiegids raadplegen.
KENNISGEVING: Om elektrostatische ontlading te voorkomen, moet u zichzelf aarden met behulp van een aardingspolsband of door zo nu en dan een
ongeverfd metalen oppervlak aan de achterzijde van de computer aan te raken.
KENNISGEVING: Voorkom schade aan het moederbord door de batterij te verwijderen voordat u binnen de computer aan het werk gaat.
