Ejecución de los Diagnósticos Dell
Dell proporciona una serie de herramientas para ayudarle en el caso de que el ordenador no
funcione como es de esperar. Si desea obtener información sobre estas herramientas de
ayuda, consulte “Obtención de ayuda” de la Guía del usuario en línea.
Si tiene un problema con el ordenador y no consigue tener acceso a la Guía del usuario en
línea, utilice los diagnósticos de Dell para determinar la causa del problema y solucionarlo.
Los Diagnósticos Dell se ubican en la unidad de disco duro.
NOTA: Si el ordenador no muestra ninguna imagen en la pantalla, póngase en contacto con
Dell. En caso contrario, ejecute los diagnósticos antes de llamar a la asistencia técnica de Dell,
ya que las pruebas de diagnóstico proporcionan información que podrá necesitar cuando haga la
llamada.

Apague el ordenador.
2 Si el ordenador está acoplado, desacóplelo.
3 Conecte el equipo a un enchufe eléctrico.
4 Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón Dell AccessDirect™ mientras enciende el
ordenador.
El equipo comenzará a ejecutar la evaluación del sistema previa al inicio, una serie de
diagnósticos incorporados que realizan una comprobación inicial de la tarjeta del
sistema, el teclado, la unidad de disco duro y la pantalla.
• Durante la evaluación, responda a las preguntas que puedan aparecer.
• Si se detecta el fallo de algún componente, el equipo se detiene y emite pitidos.
Para detener la evaluación y reiniciar el sistema operativo, pulse ; para pasar
a la prueba siguiente, pulse ; para restablecer el componente, pulse .
• Si se detectaron fallos durante evaluación del sistema previa al inicio, anote el
código o códigos de error y póngase en contacto con Dell antes de continuar con
los Diagnósticos de Dell.
• Si recibe un mensaje indicando que no se ha encontrado ninguna partición para la
utilidad de diagnóstico, siga las instrucciones de la pantalla para ejecutar los
Diagnósticos de Dell del CD Drivers and Utilities (Controladores y utilidades).
Si la evaluación del sistema previa al inicio se realiza correctamente, aparecerá el
mensaje
Booting Dell Diagnostic Utility Partition (Iniciando la
partición para la utilidad de diagnóstico de Dell). Presione
