Never leave unit unattended while in
use or when plugged into an outlet.
Extreme caution must be used when
moving an appliance containing hot
food.
Always attach plug to appliance first,
then plug cord in the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn off the appliance, then
remove plug from the wall socket.
Failure to fully secure extractor head
may result in injury.
Do not add sugar or operate unit with-
out extractor head in place.
Do not overfill or use more than the di-
rected amount of sugar in the extractor
head. Over filling may clog the unit or
cause the sugar to fly from the extractor
head.
Make sure the no cotton candy web-
bing falls into the heating element as
sugar is flammable. Turn the unit off
and allow to cool before removing fall-
en sugar from the heating element.
The extractor head rotates at high
speeds. Always keep jewellery, long
hair, hands and face a safe distance
away from the machine while in use to
avoid possible injury
Do not clean any part of this unit in a
dishwasher. Do not immerse unit in
water.
BEFORE USE
Take the cotton candy maker out of the
box and wipe down the unit exterior
and bowl with a soft cloth or sponge
before using.
To attach the extractor head (1), push
down onto the stem and make sure that
the grooves are properly aligned to fit
over the pegs on the stem.
To attach the bowl (2), carefully push
the bowl down and turn counter
clockwise until it locks into place. Then
attach the rim to the bowl by snapping
in place.
Find a stable surface near an electrical
outlet before starting. Make sure the
power cord is not close to any water
source.
Check to make sure the appliance is
turned off, then plug it into an electrical
outlet.
Finally, make sure the extractor head (1)
is in place and fully secured.
USE
1. Turn on the appliance and ex-
tractor head (1) will begin to spin.
Allow it to heat up for at least 2-3
minutes before adding sugar.
2. After allowing the appliance to
heat for 2-3 minutes, turn it OFF.
3. Place one scoop of flavoured sugar
(use the measuring cup that is
included in the packaging) into the
extractor head (1) and turn on the
appliance.
4. When you see the cotton candy
web begin, hold the bamboo stick
horizontally over the extractor
head (1) to begin collecting the
cotton candy. Rotate the bamboo
stick with your fingers while you
move the bamboo stick side to side
above the bowl (2), making sure to
collect all the cotton candy.
5. Repeat the above steps to make
more cotton candy. Make sure the
extractor head (1) is empty before
adding another measure of sugar
into the extractor head (1).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance when not in use.
Allow it cool down before putting on
or taking off any parts, and before
cleaning.
After cooling, remove the extractor
head (1) by firmly gripping both sides
and pulling straight up. Unlock the
bowl (2) by turning clockwise and
lifting.
