5.0 MAINTENANCE
Before starting maintenance to the machine, check:
- if electricity has been cut off.
- if pressure has been released from hoses and pipes by pulling the trigger of
the spouting gun.
Maintenance now can begin:
1. Weekly check the oil level. After the first 50 hours, oil must be drained and
refreshed. Turn out the drain plug and collect the oil. Then turn in the plug and
fill through black filler cap on top of the pump. The right oil level is between the
top of the oil glass and the red dot on it. Refresh the oil after every 50 hours or
6 months. Right oiltype is SAE 85-90.
2. Clean tank filter and filler opening of the fuel tank every month.
3. Water softener (fig. 1;23). Check weekly, fill up if necessary (article no.
66541).

6.0 FUNCTIONING AND PROTECTION
The main switch (fig. 1;18 pos.1 pos.2 ) starts the electromotor. This
switch is also the reset button for the thermal overload device, which protects the
motor from overheating. The high pressure water pump is direct driven by the
motor. Low pressure water from your own water supply runs through a self control-
led floatation tank to the pump. Detergent can be mixed in by a dosaging cock (fig.
1;20) from an internal or external tank.
The pressure control valve (fig. 1;6) controls the pressure of the water that goes to
the heating tube coil. When the machine is not set to deliver the maximum
pressure, the extra pressure runs back to the water inletpipe through a return
mains. For example when low pressure is needed, or when the start/
stop trigger is not squeezed when the machine is running. The start/stop system
prevents damage due to twisting heat to the pump.
In the heating tube coil, the water is heated by an oil burner. A thermostat placed
at the end of the tube coil, constantly checks the water temperature and compares
