EXTRA FUNCTIES

Met deze functie kunt u zich via een wachtwoord beveiligen tegen ongecontroleerde

ontvangst van faxen. De andere partij kan alleen met behulp van het wachtwoord een

fax aan u zenden.

Gaat u daarvoor als volgt te werk:

1. Druk op de toets FUNCTION. Het functie- en invoermenu wordt geopend.

2. . Druk 3 keer op toets 5. Het menupunt "RECEPTION SET” wordt geselecteerd.

3. Bevestig de keuze met de toets START/COPY.

Kies met de cursortoetsen en de instelling "FREE” voor niet beveiligde

ontvangst en "SECURE” voor ontvangst met wachtwoordbeveiliging.

5. Bevestig de invoer met de toets START/COPY.

6. Voer na de Anzeige "ENTER PASSWORD” met de cijfertoetsen uw

wachtwoord in. Het wachtwoord kan maximaal 20 posities lang zijn.

7. Bevestig de invoer met de toets START/COPY.

8. Druk 2 keer op toets STOP, om terug te keren in de stand-by-modus.

Het wachtwoord blijft net zo lang opgeslagen, tot u de gecontroleerde ontvangst

weer op "FREE” zet.

Bij deze functie is het noodzakelijk, het systeem op "NEW” te zetten. Zie tevens

hoofdstuk "SYSTEEM INSTELLEN", pagina 38.
