• Als u de speler op de tv aansluit met de HDMI-kabel, moet u de video-uitgangsmodus
wijzigen naar HD met de toets [V-MODE] op de afstandsbediening.
• Als u een andere modus kiest (bijvoorbeeld Interlaced, Progressive, S-Video of RGB)
kunnen beeld en geluid afwijkend zijn.
• Het kan 10 seconden duren voordat het HDMI-signaal gelezen is (Dit is afhankelijk van
de tv).

Met HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) kunnen zowel audio- als
videosignalen via een enkele digitale aansluiting met DVD-spelers, Settopboxen
en andere AV-apparatuur worden uitgewisseld. HDMI is ontwikkeld om het
gebruik van HDCP-technologie (High Definition Contents Protection) mogelijk te
maken. HDCP wordt gebruikt om digitale gegevens tijdens verzenden en
ontvangen te beschermen.
HDMI ondersteunt standaard, verbeterde of highdefinition videosignalen en ook
standaard tot multikanaal surround audiosignalen. Bij de kenmerken van HDMI
horen een niet gecomprimeerd digitaal videosignaal, een bandbreedte tot 5
gigabyte per seconde, één stekker (in plaats van meerdere kabels en stekkers)
en communicatie tussen de AV-bron en andere AVtoestellen zoals digitale tv's.
HDMI, het HDMI-logo en High-Definition Multimedia Interface zijn
handelsmerken of geregistreerde handlesmerken van HDMI licensing
LLC.
