Rear connections
REAR SCART 1 SOCKET (AV1)
This socket has video / audio input and outputs. It is recommended to connect to this socket
automatic AV switching equipment such as pay-TV decoders, video games, DVD players and most
VCR’s. In most cases, when connecting powered equipment
to this socket, the TV set switches automatically to AV mode.
If not, then use the TV/AV buttons to select AV1.
REAR SCART 2 SOCKET (AV2)
This socket has video / audio inputs and outputs. Automatic
AV switching equipment (for example most VCR’s) can be
connected to this socket. If not, then use the TV/AV buttons
to select AV2.
Side connections
S-VIDEO JACK
The side S-VIDEO jack has video inputs only. It is necessary to connect the audio inputs to socket in
order to have audio and video. To switch from TV to these inputs, use the TV/AV buttons and select AV3
.
SIDE AV SOCKET(AV3)
The side AV socket has audio and video inputs. To switch from TV to these inputs, use the TV/AV
buttons and select AV3.
HEADPHONE JACK
Insert the headphone plug(3.2mm) into the headphone
socket. The sound from the speaker will be cut off.
Remark : The side S-VIDEO jack and the VIDEO socket must
not be connected at the same time.
TV/AV selection
Allows to switch between TV and external modes.
By repeatedly pressing the remote control TV/AV or the TV side panel TV/AV button, the on-screen
display is changed as shown :

CONNECTING THE EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT
The rear Scart1, Scart2 sockets, the side AV socket, and the S-VHS socket are three dedicated
sockets to connect audio-video equipment.
