HDD Playback and Editing

Dubbing a HDD title to DVD disc

Format Hard Disk

Follow these instructions to copy the title(s)

selected with the same properties (title name,

duration, index picture, Lock, Chapter Mark)

information over to DVD.

Select the title to be dubbed [

…†

] and press

[OK].

Then select ‘Dubbing‘ using [

…†

Press [OK] to go to ‘HDD Dub Mode’ menu.

The ‘HDD Dub Mode’ Menu will be displayed.

For more detailed information about ‘HDD to

DVD Dubbing’ procedure, go to page 51.

Follow these instructions to sort a title from the

Title List by varying the order.

Select the title to be sorted using [

…†

] and

press [OK].

Then select ‘Sort‘ using [

…†

Press [OK] to go to submenu.

Select the desired sort option using [

…†

Press [OK] to sort the list.

• Record Date : sorts by record date.

• Alphabetical : sorts by alphabetical order.

• Delete Order : sorts by record date and

displays protected titles at the end.

• Protected : sorts by protected titles.

This feature enables you to erase the entire content

of the HDD. Please proceed with caution, as this

process is irreversible.

Please refer to page 34.

HDD Parental Lock

This menu will appear only when it’s set to 'On' in

'Setup - Preferences - Parental Controls - Set HDD

Parental Lock' menu.

When you lock a program, the parental password

selected in the Setup menu will be used.

The user will be asked to Unlock the program before

Play or any Edit or Dubbing operation.

Select the title to be locked using [

… †

] and

press [OK]. Select ‘Edit’ using [

… †

] .

Press [OK] to go to submenu.

Select ‘Parental Lock’ using [

… †

] .

Press [OK] to lock the title.

If you enter the password, the title is locked.

Lock icon ‘’ will appear in bottom of Title

number.

To ‘Unlock’ the title, select ‘Unlock’ in step 5.
