OWNER‘S MANUAL
Please read this owner's manual carefully to ensure correct and
sale useage 01the lock.
1. Serial No.[Key No.
The serial number is printed in the lower right corner of the
sticker.The key number is stamped on the key.

2. Spare Key ..
1) 1set of 2 keys is provided. Please store one of the keys in a sate
location.
22" ìoth keys should become lost. new keys can be ordered by
‘ rming the store where CYCLELOK was purchased of the
product name and key number.
IMPORTANT:
A spare key cannot be sold it the key number is unknown.
Always make sure to keepa note of your key number in a sate
location so that you can refer to it at a leter date it necessary.

3. Lockingwith the key
1) Insert the key into the leek in locked position and turn to unlocked
position while pushing it in.
2) Set the each mark and insert the locking-pin in the lock cylinder.
3) Turn the key to locked position and remove it trom the lock.
NOTE:
‐ Always check that the lock is properly closed and that the key has
removed.
- The key can only be removed when in locked position.

4. Unlocking
1) Insert the key into the lock in locked position and turn to unlocked
position while pushing it in.
2) Remove the locking-pin trom the lock cylinder.
3) Turn the key to locked position and remove it trom the lock.
NOTE:
Before riding oil. always check that the lock has been unlocked.
IMPORTANT:
‐ After CYCLELOK has been locked,always make sure to take
out the key.
. Always make sure to attach this lock to the disk plate.
Precautions Concerning Use
° Please use the HX-D4OO in conjunction with the handle lock.
- The HX-D4OO was specifically designed for use as a motorcycle
disk lock, it should only be used tor this purpose.
- in order to more effectively prevent theft. it is recommended that
the motorcycle be stored in a garage or double locked to a
stationary object, etc.
° Attach the warning label provided to the gasoline tank or in other
easily visible location.
 WARNING:
° Since there is a risk ot ln|ury‚ only Installthe HX‐D400 after
turning off the engine and contirmlng the stability of the
motorcycle when perked. ‘
- Since there Isthe possibility of the motorcycletipplng over,
always make sure to check that the HX'-D400 has been
removed betere rid!ng the motorcycle.
- Since there is also the possibility oftheHX-D400 obstructlng
operation or causing en accident, do not ridethe motorcycle
with the HX-D4OO attached to a moving part such as the
steering bar, fork, etc. or to part of your body such as In a
pocket, shoulder bag,etc.
- Since there is the possibilityof ln|ury‚store the Hx-D4OO in a
locationthat will notcause lttotly out uponImpactandwhere
it can be reliany secured down with straps, etc.
