DE • Der Kindersitz muss, auch dann wenn er nicht benutzt wird, immer korrekt im
Fahrzeug befestigt sein.
• Um die bestmögliche Schutzwirkung des Kindersitzes zu erzielen, aktivieren
Sie den linearen Seitenaufprallschutz (L.S.P.)
• Beim Einbau des Kindersitzes auf einem mittleren Sitzplatz dürfen Sie den
linearen Seitenaufprallschutz (L.S.P.) nicht ausklappen.
• Der Kindersitz ist auch ohne linearen Seitenaufprallschutz (L.S.P.) getestet und
zugelassen.
•Der zum Fahrzeuginneren zeigende lineare Seitenaufprallschutz (L.S.P.) muss
eingeklappt werden, wenn der Kindersitz auf dem Beifahrersitz verwendet wird
oder eine weitere Person auf der Rückbank des Fahrzeuges sitzt.
• Achten Sie immer darauf, dass der Kindersitz beim Schließen der Fahrzeugtür
oder beim Verstellen der Rückbank nicht eingeklemmt wird.
• Gepäckstücke oder andere Gegenstände im Fahrzeug müssen immer gut
befestigt werden. Sie können zu tödlichen Geschossen im Fahrzeug werden.
• Der Kindersitz darf keinesfalls ohne Bezug verwendet werden. Verwenden Sie
nur Original-CYBEX-Bezüge, da auch der Bezug ein wesentlicher Bestandteil
der Funktion ist.
• Lassen Sie Ihr Kind nie unbeaufsichtigt im Fahrzeug zurück.
• Die Teile des Kindersitzes heizen sich in der Sonne auf. Ihr Kind kann sich
daran unter Umständen verbrennen. Schützen Sie Ihr Kind und den Kindersitz
vor intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung.
• Aufgrund eines Unfalles können am Kindersitz Beschädigungen auftreten, die
mit bloßem Auge nicht erkennbar sind. Bitte tauschen Sie nach einem Unfall
unbedingt den Sitz aus. Im Zweifelsfall wenden Sie sich an den Händler oder
Hersteller.
•󰀨
Wasser gereinigt werden. Bitte auf keinen Fall scharfe Reinigungs- oder
Bleichmittel verwenden!
•
von Kindersitzen Druckstellen, Beschädigungen und/oder Abfärbungen
auftreten. Um dies zu vermeiden, können Sie z.B. einen Sitzschoner
unterlegen.
• Verwenden Sie diesen Kindersitz nicht länger als 8 Jahre. Der Sitz ist während
seiner Produktlebensdauer hohen Belastungen ausgesetzt, die mit steigendem
Alter zu einer Veränderung der Qualität des Materials führen.

Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor dem Einbau des Kindersitzes in Ihr

vorgesehenen Fach auf.
WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN UND WARNUNGEN
•Ohne Genehmigung der Zulassungsstelle dürfen keine Veränderungen am
Kindersitz vorgenommen werden.
•Damit Ihr Kind richtig geschützt werden kann, ist es unbedingt notwendig, den
Kindersitz so zu verwenden, wie es in dieser Anleitung beschrieben wird.
•Erst wenn Ihr Kind älter als 15 Monate ist und eine Größe von 76 cm erreicht
hat, dürfen Sie den Kindersitz vorwärtsgerichtet verwenden.
•Dieser Sitz darf nur auf Fahrzeugsitzen eingebaut werden, welche laut Fahr-
zeughandbuch zur Verwendung von Kinderrückhaltesystemen zugelassen sind.
•Der Einbau dieses Kindersitzes auf dem Beifahrersitz mit aktiviertem
Frontairbag ist NICHT ZULÄSSIG.
•Benutzen Sie niemals andere als die in der Bedienungsanleitung
beschriebenen und am Sitz markierten Punkte, um den Kindersitz zu
befestigen.
•Der Beckengurt muss auf beiden Seiten so tief wie möglich über der
Leistenbeuge Ihres Kindes verlaufen, um im Falle eines Unfalls optimal wirken
zu können.
•Stellen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch sicher, dass der Fünfpunktgurt korrekt

•Nur eine korrekt eingestellte Kopfstütze bietet den größtmöglichen Schutz und
Komfort für Ihr Kind und gewährleistet außerdem den optimalen Verlauf des
Gurtsystems.
•Der Stützfuß muss immer direkten Bodenkontakt haben. Besitzt Ihr Auto
Staufächer im Fußraum, wenden Sie sich unbedingt an den Fahrzeughersteller.
• Während der Fahrt muss der Kindersitz stets in rückwärts- oder
vorwärtsgerichteter Position eingerastet sein.

Eine Neugeboreneneinlage (1) kann als zusätzliches Accessoire gekauft
werden und ermöglicht eine Benutzung des Sirona SX2 i-Size von 45 cm
an. Sie sollte entfernt werden, wenn ihr Kind größer als 60 cm ist. Der
Größenindikator (2) zeigt an, ab welcher Größe des Kindes ein Umbau auf
vorwärtsgerichtete Verwendung frühestens erlaubt ist.
DER RICHTIGE PLATZ IM FAHRZEUG
Dies ist ein verbessertes Kinderrückhaltesystem der Kategorie i-Size.
Es ist nach der UN Regulierung Nr. 129/03 zur Verwendung auf solchen
Fahrzeugsitzen genehmigt, die gemäß den Angaben des Fahrzeugherstellers
im Fahrzeughandbuch für i-Size-Rückhaltesysteme geeignet sind. Verfügt
Ihr Fahrzeug über keinen i-Size Sitzplatz, überprüfen Sie bitte anhand der
beigelegten Fahrzeug-Typenliste, ob eine Verwendung erlaubt ist. Die aktuelle
Version der Typenliste erhalten Sie auf www.cybex-online.com.
EINBAU IN DAS FAHRZEUG
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass…
• die umklappbaren Rückenlehnen der Fahrzeugsitze eingerastet sind und

• bei Einbau des Kindersitzes auf dem Beifahrersitz, dieser in der hintersten
Position steht.
1. Klappen Sie den Stützfuß (3) aus, bis er in der vordersten Position
einrastet.
2. Betätigen Sie die ISOFIX-Entrieglungstasten (4), um die ISOFIX-Rastarme
(5) auf beiden Seiten auszufahren.
💡Beide ISOFIX-Bedienungstasten können unabhängig voneinander betätigt
und die ISOFIX-Rastarme somit separat verstellt werden.
3. Schieben Sie die ISOFIX-Rastarme (5) bis zum Anschlag heraus.
4. Stellen Sie den Kindersitz auf den entsprechenden Fahrzeugsitz im Auto.
5. Schieben Sie die beiden ISOFIX-Rastarme (5) in die ISOFIX-
Befestigungspunkte (6), bis sie mit einem hörbaren „KLICK“ einrasten. Die
beiden ISOFIX-Indikatoren (7) schalten von ROT auf GRÜN.
6. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Kindersitz gut hält, indem Sie versuchen,
ihn aus den ISOFIX-Befestigungspunkten (6) herauszuziehen.
7. Schieben Sie den Kindersitz in Richtung Rückenlehne, bis diese fest und

💡Wechselseitiges Hin- und Herbewegen der Basis verspannt diese zusätzlich
mit der Rückenlehne des Fahrzeuges.
8. Betätigen Sie die Einstelltaste des Stützfußes (8) und ziehen sie diesen
soweit aus, bis er den Fahrzeugboden berührt.
9. Ziehen Sie den Stützfuß (3) zur nächsten Verrastung aus, um eine
optimale Kraftaufnahme zu gewährleisten.
10. Der Stützfußindikator (9) schaltet auf GRÜN um, wenn der Stützfuß richtig
am Fahrzeugboden aufsteht.
11. Um die bestmögliche Schutzwirkung zu erzielen, aktivieren Sie nun
den linearen Seitenaufprallschutz (L.S.P) (11) auf der zur Fahrzeugtür
zeigenden Seite des Kindersitzes. Wenn Sie den Sitz aus der Verpackung
entnehmen, ist der lineare Seitenaufprallschutz (11) auf beiden Seiten des
Sitzes ausgeklappt und aktiviert. Um das L.S.P. auf der Seite des Sitzes,
die nicht zur Fahrzeugtür zeigt, einzuklappen, drücken Sie die L.S.P.
Bedienungstaste (12), halten sie gedrückt und klappen das L.S.P. mit
einem leichten Drücken ein. Dann lassen Sie die L.S.P. Bedienungstaste
wieder los.

DE 💡Der Kindersitz kann auch mit eingeklapptem L.S.P. verwendet werden, sollte
der Platz im Fahrzeug nicht ausreichen.
AUSBAU AUS DEM FAHRZEUG
1. Entriegeln Sie die ISOFIX-Rastarme (5) beidseitig, indem Sie die ISOFIX-
Entriegelungstasten (4) drücken und gleichzeitig zurückziehen.
2. Ziehen Sie den Kindersitz aus den ISOFIX-Befestigungspunkten (6).
3. Entfernen Sie den Kindersitz und schieben Sie die ISOFIX-Rastarme (5)
vollständig in die Transportposition zurück.
4. Schieben Sie den Stützfuß (3) in seine Ausgangsposition und klappen ihn ein.
ANPASSEN DER KOPFSTÜTZE
Die verstellbare Kopfstütze (13)󰀨
Kopfstütze (14) angepasst werden. Stellen Sie die Kopfstütze (13) so ein, dass
der Abstand zwischen den Schultern des Kindes und der Kopfstütze nicht mehr
als 2 cm (ca. 2 Finger) beträgt.
DREHFUNKTION
Ziehen Sie die Positionsverstelltaste (15) an der Vorderseite des Kindersitzes
und bringen Sie ihn in aufrechte Position. Nun können Sie den Kindersitz
drehen.
💡Wir empfehlen, das L.S.P. zu deaktivieren, bevor Sie den Sitz drehen.
Vergewissern Sie sich vor Fahrtantritt, dass die Sitzschale ordnungsgemäß
eingerastet ist.
EINSTELLEN DER LIEGEPOSITION
Um den Sitz in Liegeposition zu bringen, betätigen Sie die
Positionsverstelltaste (15) an der Vorderseite des Kindersitzes.
💡Wir empfehlen für Kinder, die noch nicht selbständig sitzen können, die


hörbar einrastet.
SICHERN DES KINDES
1. Drehen Sie den Sitz in Einstiegsposition.
2. Drücken Sie die Gurtverstelltaste (16) und ziehen Sie gleichzeitig an
beiden Schultergurten (17), um die Gurte zu lockern.
 󰀨(18) durch kräftiges Drücken der roten Taste.
4. Die Schlosszungen (19) können nun seitlich mittels der Laschen am Bezug
befestigt werden.
5. Setzen Sie Ihr Kind mit dem Gesäß ganz hinten in den Kindersitz.
6. Führen Sie die Schultergurte (17) gerade über die Schultern Ihres Kindes.
7. Führen Sie die beiden Schlosszungen (19) zusammen und rasten Sie
diese im Gurtschloss (18) mit einem hörbaren „KLICK“ ein.
8. Sollten Sie einen Sitz mit SensorSafe Clip verwenden, schließen Sie den
Clip mit einem hörbaren „KLICK” und schieben Sie den geschlossenen Clip
nach unten in Richtung des Gurtschlosses (18).

10. Bei Verwendung mit Sensor Safe positionieren Sie den Clip nun direkt
unterhalb der Schulterpolster.
AB- UND AUFZIEHEN DES BEZUGES
Der Bezug des Kindersitzes besteht aus 4 Teilen. Diese sind an mehreren
Stellen am Kindersitz befestigt. Lösen Sie alle Befestigungen, anschließend
können die Einzelteile abgezogen werden. Um den Bezug wieder zu
befestigen, verfahren Sie in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
💡Der Bezug darf nur bei 30 °C im Schonwaschgang gewaschen werden,

Bezug gesondert von anderer Wäsche waschen und nicht im Trockner oder
in der prallen Sonne trocknen!

EN •While driving, the car seat must always be locked in the rearward or forward-
facing position.
•For the car seat to provide the best possible protection, always use the linear
side-impact protection (L.S.P.).
•If using the car seat on the middle seat of the vehicle's back bench, the linear
side-impact protection (L.S.P.) must never be folded out.
•The car seat has also been tested and approved for use without the linear
side-impact protection (L.S.P) folded out.
•The linear side-impact protection (L.S.P) facing the inside of the vehicle must
be folded in if the car seat is used on the front passenger seat or another
person is sitting in the rear seat of the vehicle.
•Always ensure that the car seat is not jammed against any surface when
closing the vehicle door or adjusting the back seat.
•Luggage or any other objects present in the vehicle must always be firmly
secured. Otherwise, they may be thrown within the vehicle, which could cause
fatal injuries.
•The car seat must never be used without the seat cover. Ensure that only an
original CYBEX seat cover is used, as the cover is a key element allowing the
seat to function correctly.
•Never leave your child unattended in the vehicle.
•Parts of this child restraint system can heat up when exposed to direct sunlight
and could potentially burn your child's skin. Protect your child and the car seat
from direct sun exposure.
•An accident may cause damage to the car seat that is not identifiable with the
naked eye. Please replace the car seat after an accident. In case of doubt,
please consult your dealer or the manufacturer.
•The plastic parts can be cleaned with a mild cleaning agent and warm water.
Never use harsh cleaning agents or bleaches!
•On some vehicle seats made of sensitive materials, the use of car seats may
leave marks and/or cause discolouration. To prevent this, you can place a
blanket, towel or similar underneath the car seat to protect the vehicle seat.
•Do not use this car seat for more than 8 years. The car seat is exposed to high
stress during its product lifespan, which leads to changes in the quality of its
materials with increasing age.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND WARNINGS
•Without the approval of the Type Approval Authority, the car seat may not be
modified or added to in any way.
•In order to keep your child properly protected, it is absolutely essential that
you use the car seat as described in this User guide.
•Do not use forward facing before the child's age exceeds 15 months and
before the child has reached a size of 76 cm.
•This car seat may only be installed on vehicle seats which are approved for
the use of child restraint systems according to the vehicle manual.
•The installation of this car seat on the front passenger seat with the
front airbag activated is NOT PERMITTED.
•Do not use any load-bearing contact points other than those described in the
User guide and marked on the child restraint.
•The lap belts on the harness must run as low as possible across your child’s
groin to have optimum effect in the event of an accident.
•Before each journey make sure that the five-point harness is correctly
adjusted and fits tightly to the child's body. The belts must never be twisted!
•Only an optimally adjusted headrest can offer your child maximum protection
and comfort while ensuring that the shoulder belts can be fitted appropriately.
•The car seat must always be correctly installed and secured in the vehicle
even when not in use.
•The load leg must always make direct contact with the floor of the vehicle. If
your vehicle has storage compartments in the footwell, be sure to contact
the vehicle manufacturer to ensure the floor of the vehicle can support the
load leg.

DIFFERENT USES OF THE SEAT

A Newborn inlay (1) can be purchased as a separate accessory and allows
for usage from 45 cm on. It should be removed if your child is taller than 60
cm. The Size indicator (2) shows the size your child must reach before it is
permitted to convert the seat for forward-facing use.
THE CORRECT POSITION IN THE VEHICLE
This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according
to UN Regulation No. R129/03, for use in i-Size compatible vehicle seating
positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in their vehicle user manuals.
If your vehicle does not have an i-Size seating position, please check the
enclosed vehicle Type List. You can obtain the most up-to-date version of the
Type List from www.cybex-online.com.
INSTALLATION IN THE VEHICLE
Always ensure that…
• the backrests in the vehicle are locked in their upright position.
• when installing the car seat on the front passenger seat, adjust the vehicle
seat as far back as possible.
1. Fold out the Load leg (3) until it locks into its foremost position.
2. Release the ISOFIX-Release buttons (4) to extend the ISOFIX-Locking
arms (5) on both sides.
💡The ISOFIX-Release buttons can both be released independently allowing
the ISOFIX-Locking arms to be adjusted independently.
3. Push the ISOFIX-Locking arms (5) out of the car seat to their furthest
extent.
4. Place the car seat on an appropriate seat in the vehicle.
5. Push the ISOFIX-Locking arms (5) into the ISOFIX-Anchorage points
(6) until these lock into place with an audible "CLICK". The two ISOFIX-
Indicators (7) will switch from RED to GREEN.
6. Ensure the car seat is secure by trying to pull it out of the ISOFIX-
Anchorage points (6).
7. Push the car seat towards the backrest of the vehicle seat until it is fully
aligned with the backrest.
💡Moving the car seat from side to side will also brace it against the vehicle
backrest.
8. Press the Load leg adjustment button (8) and extend the leg until it touches
the vehicle floor.
9. Pull the Load leg (3) out to the next locking position to ensure optimal force
transmission.
10. The Load leg indicator (9) switches to GREEN when the load leg is
correctly positioned on the vehicle floor.
11. In order to achieve the best possible protection, activate the Linear side-
impact protection (L.S.P.) (11) on the side of the car seat facing the vehicle
door. When taking the product out of the box, the Linear side-impact
protection (11) is activated on both sides of the seat. To close the L.S.P.
not facing the vehicle door, press the L.S.P Operating button (12), hold it
pressed and fold in the L.S.P with a slight push. Then, release the L.S.P.
Operating button.

EN 💡The car seat can also be used without the L.S.P. in use, if there is not
enough space in the vehicle.
REMOVAL FROM THE VEHICLE
1. Unlock the ISOFIX-Locking arms (5) on both sides by pressing the ISOFIX-
Release buttons (4) and at the same time pulling them back.
2. Pull out the car seat from the ISOFIX-Anchorage points (6).
3. Remove the car seat and slide the ISOFIX-Locking arms (5) completely
back into their transport positions.
4. Push the Load leg (3) back into its original position and then fold it in to
save space.
ADJUSTING THE HEADREST
The adjustable Headrest (13) can be adjusted by using the Headrest
adjustment handle (14) at the back of the Headrest (13). When adjusting the
headrest ensure that no more than 2 cm (approx. 2 finger's width) remain
between the child's shoulders and the headrest.
ROTATION FUNCTION
Pull the Position adjustment handle (15) on the front of the seat and bring it
into an upright position. Now you can turn the seat.
💡We recommend to deactivate the L.S.P. before turning the seat.
Before starting your journey, make sure that the seat is properly locked into
place.
ADJUSTING THE RECLINE POSITION
To adjust the car seat to the desired recline position, press the Position
adjustment handle (15) on the front of the car seat.
💡We recommend using the flattest lying position for children who are not yet
able to sit upright independently.
💡 Always make sure that the car seat audibly clicks into place when adjusting
it to either the lying or sitting position.
SECURING THE CHILD
1. Rotate the seat to the boarding position.
2. Press the Belt adjustment button (16) and pull both Shoulder belts (17) at the
same time to loosen them.
3. Undo the Belt buckle (18) by pressing the red button firmly.
4. The Buckle tongues (19) can now be attached to the indicated places on the
cover using the integrated loops.
5. Put your child in the car seat with their buttocks at the back.
6. Place the Shoulder belts (17) directly over your child’s shoulders.
7. Place both Buckle tongues (19) together and lock them in place in the Belt
buckle (18). You should hear an audible “CLICK”.
8. If you are using a seat with a SensorSafe Clip, push the clip closed until you
hear an audible “CLICK” and slide the closed clip down towards the Belt
buckle (18).
9. Tighten the Lap belts (20) and then pull on the Central adjustment belt (21)
to tighten the Shoulder belts (17) until they rest snug against your child's
body.
💡The harness should be fitted tight enough so that it is not possible to put a
fold in any of the straps.
10. When using the SensorSafe clip, position the clip directly below the
shoulder pads.
REMOVING AND REATTACHING THE SEAT COVER
The car seat cover consists of 4 parts. These are fastened to the car seat
at several places. Once unfastened, the individual parts of the cover can be
removed. To reattach the cover, follow the removal instructions in the reverse
order.
💡The cover may only be washed at 30°C with a delicate wash program
otherwise it may result in discolouration of the cover fabric. Please wash
the cover separately from other laundry and do not dry it in the dryer or in
direct sunlight!
