Ändern der Bildeinstellungen
Markieren Sie den gewünschten Menüpunkt im Menü “Video”. Drücken Sie die
Taste “ENTER” , um ein Menü aufzurufen. Wählen Sie mit Hilfe der Taste “C”
oder “D” die gewünschte Einstellung aus und drücken Sie “ENTER”. Sie kön-
nen das Menü jederzeit durch Drücken der Taste “B” auf Ihrer Fernbedienung
verlassen.
TV- Format
Zur Wahl des Bildseitenverhältnisses des angeschlossenen Fernsehgerätes
(normales oder Breitbildfernsehgerät). Wählen Sie eine der folgenden Optionen
aus:
Normal/PS 4:3: Übertragung eines Breitbildfilmes auf einem Fernsehgerät mit
Standardgröße. Dabei werden die Seiten abgeschnitten.
Normal/LB 4:3: Übertragung eines Breitbildfilmes mit schwarzen Balken oben
und unten auf einem Fernsehgerät mit Standardgröße.
Breit 16:9: Diese Einstellung empfiehlt sich, wenn Sie ein Fernsehgerät mit
“16:9” Format verwenden.
TV-System
Ihr DVD-Player kann mit NTSC, PAL und “Multi”Fernsehgeräten betrieben wer-
den. Wählen Sie eine der folgenden Optionen aus:
PAL: In den meisten europäischen Ländern, Afrika und dem Mittleren Osten
verwendete Farbfernsehnorm mit 50 Bildwechseln pro Sekunde im Interlaced-
erfahren, 625 Zeilen gesamt, 576 mit Bildinhalt.
Multi: Die DVD wird im Ursprungsformat abgespielt (Multinorm-TV notwendig).
NTSC: In den USA, Kanada, Japan und vielen anderen Ländern verwendete
Farbfernsehnorm mit 60 Bildwechseln pro Sekunde im Interlaceverfahren, 525
Zeilen gesamt, 480 mit Bildinhalt.

Hinweis:
Die Einstellungen Normal/PS 4:3 und Normal/LB 4:3 haben normalerweise
keine Auswirkung, da sehr wenige Filme beide Optionen unterstützen. DVDs
werden im allgemeinen entweder mit Pan & Scan oder Letterbox erstellt. Ein
Wechsel zwischen den beiden Formaten ist im Allgemeinen nicht möglich.
