ACCESORIO BATIDOR
No sumerja la caja de engranaje en agua u otro líquido.
Utilice el accesorio batidor para montar claras o batir crema.
Monte las claras en un tazón de metal o de vidrio muy limpio; nunca
utilice tazones de plástico (el plástico suele contener aceites que
pueden impedir montar las claras). Para ayudar a estabilizar las claras,
añada

cucharadita de crémor tártaro por clara antes de montarlas.
Nota: no use crémor tártaro si usa un recipiente de cobre. Bata las
claras a punto de nieve.
El accesorio batidor también puede usarse para preparar mezcla para
"crêpes" (crepas) o tortillas de huevos.
Batir las claras durante un tiempo excesivo hace que se sequen y
sean menos estables.
Cuando añada azúcar a las claras, haga esto despacio, justo cuando
empiecen a formarse picos suaves, y luego siga batiendo.
Si el tiempo lo permite, es aconsejable refrigerar el tazón y el batidor
antes de batir crema. El mejor tazón para preparar crema batida es un
tazón profundo con un fondo redondo que minimiza las salpicaduras.
Refrigere la crema/nata antes de batirla. Bata la crema hasta
conseguir picos suaves o firmes, al gusto. Añada saborizante (por ej.
extracto de vainilla) si desea. Para conseguir resultados óptimos,
prepare la crema batida justo antes de usarla.
CUCHILLO ELÉCTRICO
No haga presión sobre el cuchillo; deje que el movimiento de las
hojas controlen la velocidad a la que corta el cuchillo.
Cuando rebane pan, mantenga las hojas a un ángulo recto en relación
con la tabla de picar; esto logrará un groso uniforme.
Cuando rebane carne o aves, tenga cuidado de evitar los huesos o
podría dañar las hojas.
Cerciórese de mantener la mano con la cual no sostiene el cuchillo
lejos de las hojas.
