LA COTTURA A VAPORE
Versare la quantità d'acqua desiderata nel recipiente interno. La quantità
di acqua determina la durata della cottura a vapore. (Cfr. tabella a lato)
Posizionare l'alimento nel cestello per cottura a vapore, sopra al
recipiente interno.
Gli ortaggi devono essere prima lavati e mondati.
Posizionare il coperchio, mettere l’interruttore acceso / spento sulla
pozisione “I” e premere l'apposito comando verso il basso (come
indicato per la cottura del riso). Quando l'acqua sarà evaporata,
l'apparecchio passerà automaticamente in modalità “warm” e la spia
luminosa si accende. Utilizzare guanti isolanti per sollevare il cestello
di cottura. E possibile cuocere contemporaneamente riso e altri alimenti
diversi dal riso; un'operazione che richiede solamente di sorvegliare la
cottura.

La quantità di acqua versata nel recipiente interno determina la durata
della cottura a vapore. In generale, per 160 ml d'acqua (1 cup), il tempo
di cottura sarà pari a 30 minuti circa, per 80 ml (mezzo cup), sarà di 15
minuti, e così via.
